People talk about Luffys fighting prowess when its equal stat and the oppnent is obviously more skilled than him in fighting, for example characters like naruto and goku are much better hand to hand fighters than luffy

There isn’t any reason not to choose kryptonian , unless you just really want to be one of the others for some emotional reason. A weak kryptonian is a top tier in each of these verses, and they have much better utility in everyday life. The biggest downside is if you want kids, and your not Superman you gonna need to adopt or find a kryptonian because it’s not happening with a human most likely.
