An amazing song that has grown into one of my all-time faves, and a brilliant bit of cinema from David Chase and co. I get chills every time I watch this clip...
DAMN! This is outstanding... Steve Van Zandt wrote this? No disrespect to "The Boss", but there hasn't been a song this catchy and enigmatic on a Springsteen album in almost 30 years! I've listened to Little Steven's radio show Sunday nights in New York for years, loved him as Silvio Dante and I'm a huge Springsteen/E-street fan. Amazing that he still has something this good in him after all these years. Keep it up, my dude...
I agree plus Steve seems more musical and like Ringo he enjoys playing all the time, I can't speak for Bruce but he doesn't seem he's doing as much as Steve is. But the point is.. very much like the song That Thing You Do, the song performed in this movie has such an authentic sound that it sounds like it would've came out in the '60s plus it sounds something that a group like The Byrds would've done.
Never gets old!
An underrated film. One of my favorites. Great song!
Yo! I love this movie
