Lena earned the mistrust, she's looking at this as from Kara lying without seeing the actions she took that caused Kara to falter whenever she wanted to tell her. I truly think Lena was really close to being told in season 3, Kara and Lena had been so close in both identities, but then Lena slipped and his Reign. Kara panicked, she wanted Lena to be innocent, she was so determined that Lena had no bad intentions that she decided to make sure and violate Lena's trust by checking. Truth is, James used that situation to get closer to Lena by telling her something he knew would drive a wedge between Kara and Lena. Each time Kara almost told Lena, Lena did something shady, her inventions and actions always came with consequences

I want to like Lena, I really do. But the show made a giant error in having her go as far as she did when angry. Her actions couldn't be redeemed and yet 1 episode is all it took for Kara to forgive. That was not a believable reconciliation

The show made a mistake by having Lena go to the lengths she did. I'm sorry but in reality she crossed a line that can't be redeemed. So it made their redemption non believable

ok i worked this out for pitch perfect earlier. It's just occurred to me. How much does it cost to make a movie? pitch perfect 3's budget was 45 million, pp2's was 29, and the first movie was only 17, and look what came out of it! So. How many fans are there that want bechloe? Each movie sold about a million copies, plus anyone who watched it on netflix or amazon prime - say another 500 thousand people watched it on neflix and prime, that's 1.5 million people. Plus anyone who saw it in cinemas, that's another 250 thousand, we're now at 1.75 million people who have seen these movies (using an average of the same people who bought the first one bought the other 3). the average number of people in a family is 4, times 1.75 million and we have 7 million people who've seen this movie. say 250 thousand of those people put it on at birthday parties, and each person had 5 people at their birthday parties, we're at another 1.25 million people who've seen it. Let's divide that by 2, as some of these people might've seen it before. we're at 625 thousand people who've seen it at birthday parties. add that to the 7 million people, we've got 7,625,000. if only half of those people, 3,812,500 people, wanted bechloe. awesome. if each of those people gave 5 dollars, we'd have 19,620,500 dollars. if everyone gave 10 dollars, we'd have 38,125,00 dollars. if everyone gave 15, we'd have 57,745,500 dollars. If we all gave 20 dollars, we'd have 76,250,000 million dollars. Say only a quarter of the original 7,625,000 people wanted to watch it, that's still 1,906,250 people who wanted bechloe. Side note: somewhat off-topic yet relates to Supercorp. So I was binge-watching The L Word and once again I'm blown away by the obvious parallels. There were two separate scenes w/ Dana/Lara and Tasha/Alice (in Season 3 and Season 6 respectively). The former was during Dana's cancer storyline and Lara told Dana: "I am here. I'm not going anywhere". The latter was during the series finale when Tasha consoled Alice and told her: "I am here. I'm not going anywhere". Like seriously...it's literally almost the SAME thing Kara said to Lena in 2x18. Again I ask...how is Supercorp seen as strictly "platonic" when they parallel actual canon couples??? How are they seen as "platonic" when writers intentionally use romantic tropes for them that are used for other canon ships? Make it make sense. 😂

Ugh my heart has been shattered. This brought tears to my eyes. Heartbreaking yet beautiful! Great song choice and beautifully edited. I love how you cut between the scenes w/ their confrontation at the Fortress and other notable scenes from past Seasons. Also the parallel w/ "I'm not a villain. You shouldn't have treated me like one" and you used the scene from 4x01 when there was still conflict between Supergirl and Lena was heartbreaking. Another parallel at the end w/ "I will always be your friend. And I will always protect you. I promise" and you used their first lunch date scene in 5x06 and the scene where Supergirl saved Lena in 5x13...ugh the feels!! Absolutely brilliant!
