Texas Imaging and Labs is one of the best Diagnostic Centre in Pune situated at Wadgaonsheri , Kharadi area. It’s a vision of Dr Sanghasheel Jumle (Senior consultant Radiologist ) and Dr Nutan Jumle (Senior Onco-Pathologist ) to provide world class infrastructure, 100 % reliable tests and results and global experience to their patients.
It started with first centre at Wadgaonsheri. The bare shell space provided by builder was having opening from 2 sides and two-level ceiling was having half mezzanine . The available area was not sufficient to provide space / room provisions for all scan and diagnostic services. BVM team recommended to extended to mezzanine as per regulation on load bearing to get extra space for provision of all the planned services. The theme chosen by Dr Jumle’s was Modern Victorian fusion. Room provision was done for 1. Ultrasound Scan , 2. Doppler Scan, 3. Digital X Ray, 4. PFT, 5. Stress test, 6. 2D Echo, 7. Fully equipped Pathology, 8. Histopathology ,9. ECG, 10. Conference Room, 11.OPD room, 12. Two Directors Room, 13. IT / Finance Room, 14, Pantry for staff lunch and 15 Reception area with provision of seating capacity of 12-15 patients at a time.
BVM also created two more bathrooms on mezzanine floor. Space planning was the key challenge in this project as we have to make almost 15 different rooms/ zones to carry out different activities. Total area available to us after extending mezzanine was only around 1500 Sqft. We ensured making new walls as per Indian Clinical guidelines. Passage wide enough to have a stretcher movement, Safety standards as per Corona guidelines. This project was executed in around less than 3 months from design to execution. Coordinating with multiple agencies of testing equipment suppliers like X ray machine, Stress Test, Ultrasound etc was also one of the key requirements for smooth installations of the testing equipment’s/ machines.
