The Merc sports are getting good collectors now. The V8 engines are good engineering in the Day. You could use complete running gear in a hot Rod. But good flip cars. Parts expensive.

Hot Rod chassis would be a good start to you hot Rod Lincoln engine. All kinds of goodies there. Feed off that for a while. 👍👍

I see a lot of people asking about the rear. Well normally on these old customs the rear wheel doesn’t get a cap because it’s under a skirt so it might just get a beauty ring.

I did similar on an atv, how did you do the rear where the axle is spinning with the rim? My solution was to mount a sealed ball bearing between cap and input shaft.

How do you weld the piece on the back of the hub cap , without marking the out side of the hub cap ? .
