Technology test. Kissa kuumalla katolla.
The music just stirs you in this film. Never get tired of it.
Last seen Jack Elam in The Way West he looks like he hasn't had a wash since
I haven't seen the film. At the end of this clip, it looks like two of the men are hanging (by the neck) on ropes. Was that foreshadowing?
No Windmills. Or Flies were hurt in the making of this Masterpiece of movie magic
WESTERN!=VYNIKAJUCI WESTERN-RAZ SA STALO N'A ZAPADE!
1968…. The black actor sure looks like the concierge in the John Wick movies….is he a vampire?
The best
That fly bothering him was just a prelude to what Bronson was going to do to him and this 2 accomplices. 🤣🤣🤣👍
That fly won an Oscar 😂😂
I did not see the fly in the opening credits.
Best western ever. It's pretty obvious now. Unfortunately Clint Eastwood turned down the role that went to Charles Bronson. He was thirty something, his career was going nowhere, he was not even the star of a TV western series and Sergio Leone saved him. And yet after he became famous and Sergio asked him for one more movie he turned it down and chose to do a movie like Hang em High, which is descent but not really a must watch movie. He owed Ted Post from Rawhide and they ended up making a TV western despite the good script and cast. And even now he is derogatory of Italian westerns, pretending that somehow they were beneath him. The most ungrateful person in the history of cinema making.
I like how it says "MUSIC COMPOSED AND CONDUCTED BY ENNIO MORRICONE" but its silent.
This and once upon a time in america best sergio leone movies!!
This was pre 1872 Carrington event. 😜
Who’s here after season 4 of Only Murders in the Building?
First time I watched this movie, I was sitting with my infant daughter (give or take 2-3 months around 1yo, I was a SAHD back then), and she was absolutely ENTRANCED by this whole sequence. Once people started talking, she could not have cared less, but all this nonverbal business was right on her wavelength.
Masterpiece western...all perfect in this movie
dieser western ist ein meisterwerk. bester aller zeiten
R.I.P Jack Elam a great actor .
The best by far western film of all time 🔥💎✌️
I had no idea until today that Dario Argento had something to do with this.
I forgot how manytimes I enjoyed this western simlply GREAT
There must be a better video quality including the whole beginning...
Back when all good movies were shown in theaters, this would work fine: they had a captive audience. Release a drawn out opening scene like this today, and viewer retention would drop like a rock.
Such an artificial world. What do such people do for work and food? Nonsense
According to the film's script, the railroad tycoon paid them! (Good morning...) \_(ツ)_/
Very nice 👍🤠
The sound effects in this film is some of the best I have ever heard. Not only are they crisp and appealing, they keep you engaged and immersed even when a scene has no music or dialogue (this scene is a good example). Filmmaking at its finest!
The eternally waiting for something to happen scene of scenes. What a movie !
Spiel mir das Lied vom Tod! Play me the song of the death ist the German title.
After this taster I want to see the film.
fly shoulda gotten an Academy Award
The strange thing is, this movie marked the end of Westerns in cinema. Clint Eastwood made a couple, to try to carry on the tradition, but they were minor achievements and there’s been nothing since.
Jack Elam my fave
Just love this movie! Always wondered why in brother's demise scene there is a concrete arch in the desert😊. But nothing can touch this western.
Man, the shame of it all ...is that they don't make movies like this anymore. Nobody directs or writes scripts like this anymore. And film was so much better than digitized for art and depth. Italians know to make movies.
No words necessary.
All my friends when we're young loved these spaghetti westerns i hated them all those annoying close up of their eyes, and the annoying sound effects they used especially for the guns! Yuck!👎👎
I loved that movie pĺay it again Sam
Son dialogue mais magique ❤ a la leone
Simply stunning opening..............
PURE GARBAGE...
THAT'S THE NUMBER WESTERN MOVIE MOST BORING LONG AND PREDICTABLE IT'S PURE HORSE MANURE !!!
Killed the best actors in the first scene?
This scene is shite without Claudia!
All hail the foley artists!
One of the best opening scenes ever! Period. Long live great movies
Who trained that fly?
Honey on the face of Elam.
Shot in beautiful Spain.
I remember being astounded at how good that movie was when I first saw it as a teenager many, many years ago. An incredible movie experience!
I love the windmill
