      @markmartinez768...Thank you for taking the time to listen and commenting. The question we have would be does Pacquiao's losses (including the one to Mayweather) affect his legacy in any way? According to modern fight fans, once a fighter loses he "sucks and was overrated"

      People that say Floyd ducked Manny have not done the research into what actually went down during that time! Manny refused the random blood and urine testing up until 14 days to the fight, because he stated he was scared of needles, and thought he'd be drained getting tested that close to fight time. Keep in mind Manny has tattoos but he's scared of needles?! Freddy Roach Manny's own coach admitted it was Manny's fault the fight didn't happen at that time. Also keep in mind Floyd is two years older than Manny and was not in his prime when they fought either! People act like Mayweather is the only fighter that was apparently in his prime his entire career! They fought and Mayweather won! The results would have been the same if not even clearer if they had thought when they should have because Floyd would have been that much better as well! People don't recognize that though!

    Im a uk boxing fan and would of wanted nigel to win .but the ref was shocking allowing nigel to constantly rabbit punch. allowing nigel to duck below waistline and definitely kept getting in gerald mcclellan way in first round. Round 9 was the worst for the rabbit punches one over the top right hand was bad the ref did nothing. I thought gerald corner should of pulled him out cause of his mouth piece hanging out . I no some people don't like gerald cause of the dog fighting but he does not deserve to be blind deaf in a wheelchair it was a horrible fight there may well have not been a ref .god bless gerald and his family the sane thing happened to prichard colon against terrel Williams bad ref and rabbit punches now prichard is in a bad way god bless prichard and his family as well as soon as a boxer starts rabbit punching should be warned then disqualified

    The Cowboy's lost because they underestimated the best defense in the league when it comes to ball watchers. 14 picks and 2 turnovers is literally the only stat that matters. Turnovers loses games. Can attribute those 3 to mostly bad play calling. I don't think the game would have played much different had Prescot been in. Eagles losing Johnson gave Dallas a chance, until the Eagles adjusted their strategy.

    • @chinchecksportsradio3152
      @chinchecksportsradio3152 Рік тому

      Thank you for taking the time out to listen and even commenting. I will disagree with your point about not much a difference if Dak played but the chances were better for the Cowboys since Lane Johnson was out. Dak Prescott would not have the three interceptions like that.

    • @riccochet704
      @riccochet704 Рік тому

      @@chinchecksportsradio3152 it's debatable. Eagles lead the league in picks. Three best conerbacks in the league and a safety that can hustle. May not have been three, but at least one. Might have been a closer game with Dak in there, but I still think the Eagles would have won. If the Eagles get their second half scoring up they're going to be hard to beat by anyone. Bills and Giants are also looking really good. Going to come down to rushing. Who can move the ball on the ground when needed. So far not much has stopped the Eagles in that regard. We'll see though. Season is still young and injuries are sure to happen.

    i guess styles makes fights . HOLYFIELD was at his STEROID PEAK vs TYSON . STYLES MAKES FIGHTS ............... BOWE's boxing style was able to compete with HOLYFIELD. MIKE TYSON style had trouble against HOLYFIELD. But whats weird is this, MIKE TYSON looked better against TYRELL BIGGS, TONY TUBBS & ANDREW GOLOTA than BOWE did . BOWE KO'd BIGGS, but actually struggled in that fight, BIGGS even hurt & rocked BOWE on a few occassions in that fight. BOWE struggled badly against TONY TUBBS, & many people actually think TUBBS beat BOWE in that fight, but was robbed of the decision., BOWE looked TERRIBLE in his 2 fights with ANDREW GOLOTA, & GOLOTA was pretty much dominated 90% of both fights & brutalized him. GOLOTA was the main reason why BOWE now has BRAIN DAMAGE. MIKE TYSON easily walked through & brutalized TYRELL BIGGS in 7 rds, TUBBS in 2 rds, & GOLOTA in 2 rds... So basically STYLES MAKES FIGHTS, you mention "LOOK AT BOWES RECORD" !!!, well his record doesnt fool me at all, because i know how he looked against many fighters, even HERBIE HIDE & BUSTER MATHIS made him look bad as well. So styles makes fights, & TYSON vs BOWE was a TOSS UP, anybody could win, its no gaurantee for no man. Cant always look at PAST FIGHT RESULTS to determine a WINNER

      First, thank you for even taking the time to listen to the Fantasy Matchup and taking the time to comment. We enjoy doing these matches because we know people will come with different points of view and it sparks a fun debate/conversation. We did not pick the winner solely based on past fight results. We said due to Bowe's size, reach, skillset (jab and uppercut) and not being intimidated. Intimidation was a serious weapon in Mike's arsenal and that would be negated by Bowe. Bowe was just as rough as Tyson. Mike would have to walk through fire to land his punches. And Mike had a solid chin but it would get hit a lot against Bowe. You stated Holyfield was at his juiced up peak vs. Tyson but so roided up he opened as 25-1 underdog when the fight was made and the odds were 9-1 or 6-1 when they stepped into the ring. And a year earlier he was battered by Bowe in the rematch. Let's go back to the fantasy match, Bowe might not have looked good against the fighters you mentioned and I did not bring up Tubbs and Biggs because outside of us (hardcore fight fans) would know who they are. Another common opponent is Bruce Seldon, I left him out also. We mentioned how Mike has the victory over Golota who beat the hell out of Bowe twice despite "losing" both fights. Thank you for your detailed comment to the matchup. Please feel free to check out the other Fantasy Matchups.

      @@chinchecksportsradio3152 Thanks! I think it's a bad stylistic matchup because Vitali is as big as he is, hits much harder and has a steel chin, is much more aggressive than his brother, has a very awkward style and is very difficult to hit due to reflexes and mastery of using his height to lean back just out of range before hitting you, he also has great stamina and conditioning, is fast for his size in both hand speed and just general speed when he was in his prime, and was strong enough to push back a 256 pound Lennox Lewis. And I am a Tyson Fury fan btw, I think Fury could win but prime for prime I would give it to Vitali.

    If Mike tyson never went to prison and lewis and bowe fought each other. Then I think the 90's era had potential to be even better than the 70's era

      That is GREAT point. Think of what could have been. We think of Ali, Frazier and Foreman maybe Norton in the 70s. In the 90s, we could have been talking about Tyson, Holyfield, Bowe, Lewis, Michael Moore and Foreman especially that 91-96 period. Thank you very much for listening! We appreciate that!

    $300 for this card is a no brainer and even $500 would be a consideration with friends chipping in for a fight party. The key is we know how these fights turn out. The trouble with unfought cards is you never know which one will be a dud. What I'd be really curiois about is what fight card could be assembled today that might make me reach for $300.

      Thank you very much for your support! And nothing wrong with your choice. I am finding out there are people who never heard of or forgot about Ike Quartey. We will continue to produce fantasy matchups to discuss.

    Wilder will lose via decision. He has the heart but not the skill to beat fury. I wish that weren't the case but until Wilder invests in his fundamentals he cannot beat a mentally and physically in shape Fury. I hope he proves me wrong. Thanks for the analysis on this fight!

    Fury wins a UD, but it’ll be tougher than the Wladimir Klitschko fight.

      Thank you very much for the support!! I agree with you, my pick would be Fury by UD. I always felt Vitali was tougher with a stronger chin than Wladimir with not as refined boxing skills. It would be a rough and tumble fight. We will continue to come up with quality fantasy matchups that you will hopefully enjoy!

    Every head coaching cycle we here the same names and how they are form a so called “coaching tree” but, the minority coaches who have real ties to some of the greats never get the “call”.

    Definitely a great broadcast! Some of the ones listed were names from the crypt I forgot about some of those guys. I agree with the point you made at the end of the show, some of the blame has to be put on black athletes but people aren’t ready for that conversation

    I been saying that the Briana Taylor case had more to it than the public may have know about...that’s why I never got behind that BS. Also I can’t stand feminist. BLM is a feminist run organization. I would spit on one if they were on fire....
