Your music is so loud compared to your voice 😭 It's an interesting video though. I kind of disagree with the "generating shots for VFX practice" thing though. Especially since it's so easy to just... take a video. You won't get the same lens distortion, grain, etc. from those shots. And those are all important things to be able to work with. For instance for lens distortion, it's common to track the shot and calculate the lens distortion. Then you render your 3D VFX and distort the render to match. And things like grain. It's quite common to have to denoise your footage, add VFX, then re-add film grain on top to tie everything together and you don't really get that either. I guess the main thing is that with AI videos you won't get the same kinds of imperfections that you would from regular video. And if you do, it'll be an "average" amalgamation of all the different types of imperfections.

I can't believe there's so much people talking about this new Sora tool that WORK with video and Don't come up with the Monster Mockup video example. It's that something that only brazilian ad comapanies do? Or will I have to Affirmatively CLAIM that only Brasilizan Advertisement companies do Monster Vídeos?

Great point. But the tech will get better. And it will get better faster. The acceleration will probably keep up. And if it will, these tools will allow for much more creative freedom. But at that point, career is probably not the thing to worry about. The reason I think there will be acceleration is improvements in AI reasoning. With AIs that reason better productivity in technological developments will jump up across the board: hardware, research, algorithms. Which will also affect multimodal models (SORA, Midjourney, etc). If something like photonic or quantum computing gets cracked I dunno man. Or say nuclear fusion. Who knows what the ceiling is? I guess let's wait for GPT-5 and see if we hit a plateau or not.

this is the key to the argument: "not right NOW". I'm not worried about what this stuff does now, I'm worried about the next 5-10 years and beyond. And even then, I didn't expect Sora's current quality until 5 to 10 years from now.

I think clips like these will be insanely good for background video's and comercials where you need some quick shots to fill but htat is about it. very cool tech but people are just way to scared about ai. An other use could be where you can actually edit shots and maybe put more extra's in the background making filming cheaper.
