An Open Letter to the Class of 2024
Dear incoming freshmen, class of 2024,

But don't worry, life is still moving and there's a lot to look forward to. We'd like to share some tips and advice to help you start out college. Take it from us, no matter the circumstances, this will be a time you'll never forget.
From: The seniors, UCLA class of 2020
MMXX is run by the sophomore class of 2022 and the senior class of 2020 in Acts2Fellowship and Klesis Fellowship at UCLA. With our campus shut down due to the pandemic, we've created this channel as a way to share our experiences, stories, and the Christian message to you!

Class of 06 here. Do they still do the undie run? lol
What do you like about UCLA so far?
Wow, that's a great video. I will always cheer for you in Korea I'm looking forward to a great video. Have a nice day.
Love it! I'm deciding between UCB and UCSD for the Psych major!
me too!! cognitive science for me :)
What did u end up choosing cuz I’m debating between ucsd and ucb too
Asian club?
Hi! Is Acts2Fellowship UCLA still active? Is this primarily for undergrads or can Graduate Students also be apart? Is there a website where I may find bible study and event times?
Keren kampusnya
Nice to see fellow students walking with Christ on campus.
Quite a gorgeous campus you have at UCLA! One of the nicest campuses I have seen in the US.
ucla 2026 🥰
Is it in China?
Manifesting UCLA class of 2026
I manifested and it didn’t work😍🥰
Omg. I love this video. I'm from St. Kitts in the Caribbean, contemplating attending UCLA in 2023. This video spoke to me greatly. I had Christian living like a bunch of do's and don'ts, however, when the guy came to speak to the main character at the dining table, I felt set free. I bless God for using this video, as funny and as simple as it is, to minister to me.
good job thanks for your help
What advice do you have for someone who wants to transfer to UCLA from the CA CC system?
Demand real physics.
Recall Gavin Newsom, Vote YES for Kevin Paffrath for Governor of California.
Have you got a gym?
Why is it only the Asian friends😂
I’ve taken a screenwriting class on campus years ago, I’d love to take more online. 👍
That guy in red’s magnetic voice...
in the University of California system Asians completely dominate admission. So what the likes of super left universities like Berkeley and UCLA have done is break Asian/Pacific Islander into 7+ different categories (chinese, japanese, filipino etc) to present the false appearance that Whites still are the majority and are therefore to blame for low numbers of black & latino enrollment. If one ethnic groups dominant enrollment was the sole factor to point to why blacks and latinos are underrepresented than you would have to lay the blame at the feet of asian over representation in the University of California system.
Uhhh are asians being dominant good or bad?
@@lucaskim7098 Good for ethno-nationalist minded asians
That church dude has a 😇 halo. Which is better for engineering?
Hi guys, nice job! My son got into UCSD for aerospace engineering with regional scholarship. But the ones he preferred are UCLA or UCB, what can we do? Accept UCSD or trying to write extra essay to try to get off the waitlist for other two? Any suggestions? Thanks!
Hi I'm currently a third-year UCLA Psychobiology student so I can't comment on the quality of your son's major and each school but I similarly had to decide between UCLA, UCSD, and Berkeley. For some background, I am a transfer but I chose to finish high school early so I was 19 when I had to make this choice. You can search Reddit threads, Quora, etc, for comparisons of the aerospace engineering or engineering departments at each school but I'll give you insight that I wish I had when I was deciding. First, I would focus on what is important to your son and match those to how each university is known. I don't really think these three schools matter much in terms of differences other than prestige and bragging rights. Looking past the "name" of the school is something I wish was not put on such a pedestal because it doesn't matter nearly as much as well you're able to do in that school. You said that your son got a scholarship and I believe it's the Regents scholarship? If so, I would really prioritize the benefits of him receiving that (which isn't easy so congrats!). If it is the Regent's scholarship, he'll have access to a community of Regent's scholars, alumni, test banks (though some professional fraternities have these as well), and earlier enrollment (not sure if engineering is as big of a department but that might be able to allow him to get the classes he needs without having to stress out it every quarter/semester or take summer classes (save $) or even graduate early). If your son decides to live on campus, he'll have priority with housing such as being able to choose a university apartment (at UCLA these are hard to be accepted into as an underclassman because they are usually limited to athletes, Regents scholars, upperclassmen). Another aspect to focus on is location so if possible, tour the campus and the area surrounding it. Think about transportation/parking, off-campus housing prices and availability (Westwood is much pricier than La Jolla), safety, crime rates (my roommate had her car broken into and things stolen despite the fact that we live in Westwood), accessibility to restaurants/stores (UCLA has many options in Westwood village which is walking distance and this is not the case for UCSD). Everyday things like location, environment, culture, etc is what will enrich your experience or give you headaches when you are living in either La Jolla, Westwood, or Berkeley. This is a good gist of things that are overlooked and not talked about enough. If your son tries to appeal or decides to wait for acceptance to UCLA or Cal, you can still SIR UCSD and just forfeit the deposit if he ends up choosing somewhere else. Good luck with making the decision!
@@eriicaa_825 Love it, Thank you so much! He really wanted to go to UCLA, but he is on the waitlist. But if he can get to UCLA in the end, it is pity to lose the Regent's scholars from UCSD. That why I was debating myself. of cause, if he can get to UCLA in the end, I will support that. not pity for the money, but the rest of priorities. Again Thank you from both mom and son !!!
@@jingyak7 yep sorry I typed that in a rush but anyway if he ends up going to ucla or wants to ask more questions about ucla or ucsd my Instagram is @eriicaayu
@@eriicaa_825 thank you, my girl! We live in San Diego if you are near or a visit ! I will tell him .
@@eriicaa_825 do you need a car in lajolla? We live in northern LA county. But, I will drive him for visits. Sounds closer, and lower in cost than Berkeley.
A liberal brainwashing paradise lmao😆
Hillbillys need not apply.
@@antoniahamilton3201 thank god; what a waste of money😆👌
Hopefully COVID-19 will be gone by the time I apply for colleges. If I get accepted I want to be there physically! For the sole experience 🥲
how is the area outside of campus? are there beaches or things around it? Just wondering:)
there's a beach
@@christinanadar2771 nice, thanks for sharing!:)
Do they accept visitors?? Do we need to book?
It seems CCP has infiltrated UCLA 🤔
Great video, also can I know what camera is used because quality looking great
i'm only 14 but i'm already starting to look at colleges. if i have a 3.4 gpa is that good? i'm deciding between Berkley and UCLA
3.4 is not good enough to get u in either
@@maddiepaddy2608 Would you say weighted or unweighted is more important? I have a 3.65 unweighted, but over 4.3 weighted (4.8 is max if you take all AP classes)
@@lucaskim7098 4.3 weighted looks better than 4.0 unweighted because it shows you can handle harder classes and youre pushing yourself. i would say you have a shot but theres more factors than GPA
@@maddiepaddy2608 Yeah, for sure. I'm try to build my EC portfolio. Thank you for your input!
Pls don't be discouraged. There are tons of different aspects of a college application that will help you. And sometimes university might not work out and we have to have a new plan, so whatever decision you make isn't final if you change your mind in the future. You also have time until you graduate to make changes and be in a better position. Good luck with applications!
Wear a fuckin mask you fucktards
The focus should not be college football.
Distance Learning is Fun. Thanks for the virtual tour guys.
SO BEAUTIFUL !
CAmpus look great so if we get in so when the school will officials start
CHRISTINE ❤️ YOUBERT 2020
This is Young Hall, where you try to survive freshman chem with 270 other sardines packed in the same room This is Murphy Hall, where you try, in a vain attempt, to drop freshman chem past the deadline Actually, it is a beautiful campus and a great school, but at least for me, the lower division science classes were pretty darn tough, and I went there in the eighties, when it was arguably easier.
I used to work there so it doesn’t surprise me that it was rated the most BEAUTIFUL campus in America.
