Yes, these pipes are amazing. Just changed out my 2015 Deluxe with the Big shots staggered, quiet baffles and Fuel Pak 3. Pure Awesomeness. If you have a Harley .....do it you won't regret it.

Yes, and of course they were used in locomotives too. Back in the late 70's and early 80's I used to work for Paxman Diesels who made these engines. I've always been fascinated by their design and this video helps to explain their internal workings. Thanks for watching!

Gotta love the XT. I bought an 04 model in January and can't wipe the smile from my face when I'm riding it. Apart from the slightly dodgy fuelling, it's everything you need for the road and is a hell of a lot more comfortable than a sports bike.

Great looking bike my friend! I hope to one day have one just like it. The mods/upgrades you did to it were well worth it in my opinion. Just gotta have the low, mean grumble

Hi Vince, Thanks for your comments and glad you enjoyed the video. Yeah, tough decision whether to go for Shortshots or Bigshots - there's not much in sound-wise (although in both cases I recommend the optional quiet baffles). It's just a personal style statement whether to go long or short, and whether chrome or black. For a Vivid black bike I prefer the chrome look, but the black pipes look good with a Denim black bike. Enjoy, whichever you go for! Cheers :)

Ran my gsxr 600 there today. well worth the £25. Similar run time to you 114mph 12.57 secs. I dont know if i could have gone much faster than that. Had the front wheel in the air at the start. Grabbed the clutch to try and stop it flipping. The bloke in the other lane did exactly the same thing just ahead of me. Good fun!

I agree the 1400 is a big ol' girl to hustle around a tight track, but if that's what you got, that's what you ride :) I was lucky I got my run early in the day while conditions were still dry - the track was completely awash with rain later in the day! I didn't see the point in running the hill unless I at least tried for a half-decent time :) Cheers!

I have a GSX1400, they are a nice bike but heavy and not really built for track use, great to see a rider do a decent ride up Prescott Hill on one - and nicely shot on the video too.

I have the same bike, and like yours it sounded more like a sewing mating to start with..... I currently have rush slip ons but will get the Big Shots at some point.

Thanks fredbcj. Sounds like you're planning to ride this year :-) Enjoy the ride but take it a bit steady on your first run, it's a tight circuit. Tricky bits are the exit from Ettore's hairpin (0:38) Pardon's hairpin (0:48) and the final Semi-circle right-hander (1:16). I'm signed up again for this year's event - come and say hi if you see me! Fantastic look and sound improvement. The Fat Bob is my favorite and you improved it further without too much noise. I also really liked how it was filmed and edited. Great job! And congratulations on a beautiful bike.

Great vid! Twisty road, sun going down, bike running just right- you start to feel like a leaf on the wind and everything is good.

think you need tyre warmers and a supermoto to attack the hill properly. Liked the first run video but the audio killed this one - cheers for posting

@thegratefulEd Hi, yes, the X170 is a great camera. Check out some reviews, there are lots online :) Also look at HD170. As you can hear, it does pick up wind noise, same as any other camera with external mic, but it has Hi/Med/Lo adjustable mic level and the sound is better than the Oregon ATC2K used for some of my other UA-cam videos. The combi speedo/tach PN is 74676-09. Most of the standard features are retained, although when ign off, it displays mileage not clock, which I didn't like.

do you like the x170 - does it pickup a lot of wind noise? does the combo speedo/tach maintain all of the features of the standard speedo?
