2023 Toyota Prius LE Quick Review
This is my quick introduction and review of my 2023 Toyota Prius LE.
This is the first production year in the New Gen, and completely re-defines what a Prius is aesthetically.

any video to show how to remove the cover?
I read that you can reconfigure it in your settings and get the keyless to work on passenger door don't know if it's true but that's what I read
update?
@@RodolfoRk Thanks for the comment, the update got delayed quite a bit by some life changes but I think I'm close to doing an update just before the 25,000 mile mark.
What kind of gas mileage are you getting?
@@greeneking77 it's back to the colder weather and my mileage takes a hit because of it. Right now I'm bouncing between 52 and 49
Shine silver ok like previous body have but this black unheard wheel color I wonder if it’s can be painted to metallic silver color be nice
Thanks for this review.
You mention all of the Easter Eggs sprinkled throughout the Prius (labeled with hashtags). But, I have found one that I've never heard anyone else point-out. It does not have a # symbol but, it's for sure the coolest one. And, it is tiny. It's very, very subtle and hard to find. Bet you can't find it.
I will have a brand new set of these tires and wheel covers for sale in just a few days (after I pickup my new 2024 Prius LE). Message me if you're interested. I live in the Phoenix AZ area. :)
Paint upper surface SILVER of Hub
What?
Mpg difference?
I wonder why Le doesn’t have full led rear light in night
How did you remove the hubcap? I have the same one on my 2024 model. Please advise thanks!
Cover assist aerodynamics, keep them on. 👍
Without, but only if you can find center caps that match. If you know someone with a 3d printer, they could make a decent looking and tight fitting center cap. Maybe even put a cool design on the face of it.
It's a Prius, how could looks be of any concern?
They got you to stop and comment!
Thanks for reviewing the LE, most reviewers go for the "higher trim" models. I don't know why people want to spend more for a Prius that gets less milage! I think this new design is actually less aerodynamic that earlier models, they sacrificed aerodynamics for looks.
It’s been a year. How’s it going?
Still driving everyday, up close to 15k miles. School has picked up and things are picked up, hoping to post an update over the summer
Awesome. Looking forward to it.
Reminds me when the predator takes his mask off. 😂
Good luck I’m barley gonna start to rebuild mine in about a month or so I’ve had it since I was 13 and never really paid much mind to it but now imma start a journey to rebuild it lol

Loved your content. Clean, smooth, and straight to the point. I also appreciated that you kept showing the car throughout the entire video instead of yourself. A lot of reviewers put the focus on themselves and when they review a car, they tend to overlook the needs and uses of an average car user
Good review. How much did you pay for it? Did you order it with a deposit?
Man that thing is Beautiful! And great video, very fast-paced! I like it
How do you take screenshots of the screen to your phone I did it by accident and I don’t recall what I did
Wish I go with Toyota than freaking Jeep 😂
Keep thos covers on.
Does it have Android Auto/Apple Carplay?
I’ve averaged 80mpg driving to work in heavy traffic
The backseat is so small. My head touched the freaking ceiling. As a rental it's ok though.
Ew
나도 오더❤
I usually like the wheel covers off, but this is the exception. It looks better on and provides better feel efficiency.
Hello I’m trying to understand how the parking brake (P button) works. You said that it was really cool but I’m still not sure how to park on an incline. I know about the brake > neutral > handbrake > park gear on a normal car when on incline. How would it would work in this car?
When you engage the "Park" button, on a normal car that would only engage the "Park" gear on the transmission. On the Prius, it also engages the Parking break automatically in Park to assist with incline and decline parking.
@@TheAutomattic Ok thank you! So my understanding is to park at an incline on the Prius, you would hold brake > neutral > P button and that’s it?
@@LiamDuncan-sb2ri nope, just hold your foot on the break and press P
I’ve been looking for someone to give a real world highway mpg review on the FWD LE, but haven’t ran across one yet. Is that on your potential to do list?
It is, I'm behind on getting things finished up with school commitments but it's something I plan to discuss.
I see between 52~60mpg on mixed driving conditions.
@@drill_fiend1097 That's pretty consistent with I am seeing especially with lower winter temps. They really seem to dip your efficiency if you turn on your car to warm up for a period of time before driving and because of the impact to the hybrid system. We've had some warmer days again and it jumps right back to the upper end of your range. My neighborhood has gotten much busier, and the traffic is less than ideal for efficient driving, so I've been ruining my own mileage with driving habits.
@@TheAutomattic I stopped warming up the engine after realizing engine won't even start the most of the time even if ignition is on. I am trusting Toyota engineers to figure out hybrid system behavior to optimize for engine longevity. I also live in moderate conditions so it should be fine.
None they both look shite
This car on fill up should get 600 miles till empty
Keep the covers on for better fuel mileage and PERFORMANCE!!!
Here in Singapore, we're using the basic model, but with a 1.8l engine.
I gotcha!! Thank you for sharing! 🙂
how does the cloth feel on your butt after an hour or so of driving? I like the seats in my corolla but they are lacking in the very back of the bottom cushion and i start to feel some of the metal chair frame under my ass after sitting in it for a long drive
That's a really good question, we just did a little road trip and I don't get fatigued the way I have in other cars. I've had a few small sedans and I know exactly what you are saying. Toyota seems to have done good with these.
@@TheAutomattic good to know, thanks. I’m happy with the seats in the corolla, just that very back part of the cushion needs more padding
Can u remote start your prius le?
Yes, your remote has terrible range. But by pressing the lock button 3 times and holding the third press until your car lights blink you will be able to remote start
Fantastic review sir! Thank you
Does the LE have that cool LED accent light that goes across the dash?
No, only the upper trims do.
@@TheMaruMari1 Can you change the color of accent light?
@@wickedninja8599 I don't think so, but I'm not sure.
@@TheMaruMari1 Every photo and video I see it’s just the blue light. The prime has red I know.
@@wickedninja8599 Yes, same here. Because of that, and not having heard of anyone being able to change it, and the red color in Primes matching the red of the seat trims, I think it's very unlikely Toyota designed the light color to change.
Ban assault style low gas prices! No one needs affordable gas tax it more!
I get 650 miles per tank from my 2014 Chevy Cruze diesel with a 185K miles on the odometer 😁🤘
Dude! How crazy. I’m currently going down a Prius rabbit hole and randomly stumbled upon your video and then all of a sudden I noticed you were driving past my old apartment when I went out to school in Lubbock! 🤣 small world. Great review!
Great video. Considering purchasing a LE as well mainly for the mpg. I have 1 question. I’ve heard on some electric cars, using the A/C a lot, reduces your total range. Do you find this to be true in your Prius hybrid?
Thanks! does it have autopilot standard ?
at 6'2" you need to mention how hard it is to get in and out of it, especially the back seat . I am 5'11" and it's my biggest gripe. Car sits way too low. Steering wheel blocks the front screen.
We may be built a little differently but I'm glad you shared this for others to see. I think it's always best to do what you described, really sit in the car and feel it out!
Awesome! Id love one. Tired of getting 13mph and gas hit $6.65 for regular this summer.
