My wife recorded me talking about my living with Type 1 diabetes. Next week I'll find out for sure whether or not I'm also on the spectrum for autism (social discomfort).

Simple repair to a battery-powered car

This was a battery-powered car that came with a track my son got as a Hanukkah present. When it quit working, I decided to investigate, and on doing so, I discovered that this little toy needed a very minor, simple fix. This video is in real time; not condensed, and yes, I was able to completely screw everything back together! 👍

Hey man! I'm sorry you have diabetes type 1 that's definitely rough. I remember you telling me about it. As for autism, there's absolutely nothing wrong with it and in my eyes it's not a disability just a different way of being your own person. As you know my son has autism and see stuff differently and I see it as a super power! As for the way you are I see it the same! Never have social anxiety always ready to meet new people never worried about what other people think and being able to kick some ass on drums in front of crowds! I could never do that for the life of me lol but you go up and do it without hesitation. Never look at autism as a disability it's a super power! Keep your head up my guy! -keith from Colliflower
@keithsmith2869 wow, man. Thanks for the supportive words! I did enjoy working directly alongside you and Blake. I'm still trying to figure out UA-cam and TikTok. I'd like to stay in touch. Not sure if there are ways of sending private messages on here or not, but hey, there's Facebook as well. For now, I launched a handyman business as I try to figure out where my next chapter will take me; I'm getting a slew of (potential) clients. Some react negatively to an autism diagnosis, especially in adulthood, but I feel liberated.
Last Wednesday, I had the feedback session following the assessments. I can confirm that i have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Frankly, I feel liberated. ❤

😊yo man I got mr and mood disorder. You used to piss me off and I showed people that I was not going to take it! Now I've been to jail a few times and I learned my lesson and I'm in my late 30s I just love enjoying life and being who I am and no need to hurt people like that. When I get mad I draw or watch UA-cam and it takes my mind off stuff
@@LucasDrabek-km3hj glad to see you're pursuing positive outlets to keep you grounded. That's why I'm taking up music - and art as well. My wife is a professional artist, so I do what I can to promote her stuff. I go to her openings to support her, but I also enjoy going because I find art in and of itself to be soothing. Anyway, I'm also taking up photography and drawing. 😀
