I put together a collage of US Civil War photos along with the song Cruel War by Peter Paul and Mary. The song was popular during the Civil War, also in Ireland. I hope people will realize the terror of war. It is estimated that up to 850,000 men were killed in that war. It was the most devastating war the US has ever been involved in. Two percent of the total population at the time was killed. But, the Union was preserved and slavery was done away with.
