    Why not combine frontside ohmic metal and gate runner in one lithography step? Both for opening the oxide layer, difference is just that ohmic metal contacts touch semiconductor(source and p+) while gate runner contacts touch gate poly. I think Ni silicide can grow on both? In my work of Si device these two litho steps are combined together...

      Hi, dude. As he said, they use SILVACO. It is a software expansive and only companies or universities have the license of use.

    The earth's magnetic field IS useful for motors. Most satellites in orbit around the earth orient themselves using coils on the satellite acting against the earth's field. This saves using rocket fuel.

    I would like to point out that the planets are not held in orbit and we are not held down to earth by magnetic fields. Im looking forward to the rest of this course but hope you can go back and correct that.

    thank you for kind explanation. but I cannot understand the summation of u v w currents becomes exactly the Id of rotor flux and Iq of torque because we cannot guarantee the calculated Id or Iq represent the exact quantity that has been produced where the rotor position could have tiny advance or delay by any reasons.... and thinking the amount of next excitation, how can we calculate the amount of increasing current in different speed... sorry for lack of motor control knowledge but I studied many kinds of clips of different scientist like you but still there's too many things missing in my head. please help me to do understand more.

    Thanks sir, I am new to IM drives but I have some idea on inverter control. Your lectures and book made it quit simple to understand and implement. I have one doubt in figure 5.8 as how we are able to generate flux from speed also there is no discription regarding implementation of that block.

    Dear sir/madam I like this video and I am using FAST for turbine design. But now I am working with lifetime extension of turbine so I have not all the data like balde data because lifetime extension is only for old turbines and I have problem with that. I am downscaling NREL 5MW blade but unfortunately I am not able to find stiffness like flapwise and edgewise stiffness. So do you know how to calculate those. Could you please send me your mail ID.
