Hi fantastic video, very informative. Starting to do some Beach Ledgering in England but little known so end up watching UA-cam from Italy with no subtitles.. so thank you for yours. One question with theses very light rigs. Is there a ratio for line diameter between rig body to hook line. Maybe hook line 0.75 diameter of rigbody line. Hope that makes sense. Thankyou

very good video.....i have always used crimps but i am sure no matter how careful you are with them there is always a chance of weakening the line....going to try glue instead now .....thank you
I totally agree with you, crimps may harm the line, especially when line is below 0.50mm. PS: Be careful with the rig you will use, not all glues are good for line, many glues can harm the line. Also don' forget to use microbeads which are tiny and made of glass, bigger size beads or plastic beads may not glue really well on the line.

Hello James i personal use the YUKI invisible line at 0.30 - 0.35mm for main rig line for leads up to 100gr. For surfcasting when you use bigger leads still the same line at 0.50mm. For spool mainline i use the YUKI kenta line at 0.128mm or 0.145mm when fishing on a sandy beach. Can go up to 0.205mm if you have weed or mix bottom with sand and rocks.
