“Your real life IS your spiritual life.” This is so critical to remember. If I can keep this in focus, scripture becomes my go-to. However, when the world around me becomes so busy and I forget that this life is temporary, I seek a direction that’s self-seeking. It’s not my story but his story, keeping my mind on his word will remind me of this day to day.
Learning a life based on scripture instead of going by the heart, feelings, or what is seen in the natural world.

This is a fine illustration of a spiritual experience. God is so good to provide this supernatural experience to believers while we are still living in the natural self world. They help to carry us through life's journey and I thank Him for this born again experience.

I understand this story and how it relates to me.. Before I sincerely came to understand what accepting and believing all the meaning of John 3:16, I thought going to church (an outward behavior) was being a believer. The day I saw my dear grandmother baptized in a river, as I was standing on the bank of the flowing water, I felt an inner urge to evaluate my own faith and realized that the Holy Spirit was tugging at my heart to allow Jesus to come inside and begin again with what He actually meant by Him giving His life in my place. I have never lived from that place of "no room for Him" since that blessed decision. "Welcome to my life, Lord Jesus" eternally.
Thank you for sharing the assurance that Jesus is the answer to changing circumstances for the better in the lives of those who come in contact with Him.
