Some great ideas for the filter coffee thanks. Going to do the Richmonds in December and my go to for longer hikes is Moccona Strong Cappuccino Coffee Sachets and also chocolate coffee beans when you need a quick fix in the morning and need to get on the trail early.

Cool! I was trying to decide between these two. One more question, how is the durability of the rubber toe? I hike up lots of scree slopes and the toe of my old La sportiva GTX (I’ve probably had 4 pairs throughout the years), the toe would wear out quickly. How about this new model?
Hey! I've had them for about a year, and haven't noticed any wear on the toe yet. I only used them in the snow with crampons - very little scree. Hope this helps!
Great review! I was actually torn between the two options myself. Could you show how the zipper is constructed and how smoothly it slides? One suggestion: improving your audio setup might help, as there was a noticeable hissing sound whenever the sleeping bags moved. Just something to consider. Love your energy, and thank you for taking the time to make this video! It's much appreciated!
Thanks for your lovely review and the feedback - much appreciated! The zipper is a standard zipper construction and it does slide really well without snagging - it has a zipper draft tab to stop it catching easily!
Great review! Have been using the previous Riff for past few years and love it..looking to update with either , tough choice..features /comfort or packability seems to be the a decision between the two. Thank you ! 😊
