She had kidney disease. She is now free of pain.
She started losing weight and was not eating as usual and was drinking a lot of water.
On November 10, 2024 we made the heartbreaking decision to let her
cross Rainbow Bridge. We gave her the best life for the 12 years we had with her.

She is now free of pain.
We rescued Butterscotch on December 14, 2012 from a guy who was looking for a good home for her. She was 3 1/2 years old at the time. We ended up being foster failures. She was very shy and scared and hid for a few days until she started acting more relaxed. She was the most adorable
and silly kitty, so small and so beautiful. She was starting to lose her fur and we took her for a check up on April 12, 2023. The vet said she has kidney disease and needed to have 250 kcals a day. We fed her as much as possible keeping her alive as much as we can. Unfortunately her
kidneys couldn't take it anymore. She started losing weight and was not eating as usual and was drinking a lot of water. On November 10, 2024 we made the heartbreaking decision to let her cross Rainbow Bridge. We gave her the best life for the 12 years we had with her.
