SAWKEY devlog 2 // the saw & basic rounds
in the second devlog of my game SAWKEY i showcase the changes to the saw that i've made, including it moving, speeding up, bouncing, and damaging the player. damaging the player leads to the second addition: rounds. the player can die and reset the round.
no idea whats going on with the blue background, i think its a youtube issue.

0:31 haha this is actually a great pitch. subscribed! Your ideas sound great, would love to see a basic prototype! Could you deploy to web for super accessible playtesting? I know Godot has a web deployment option, but I've never used Godot myself 9:19 also this is tooootally relatable. I think videomaking is a really good idea to keep busy / accountable, as long as you are having fun!
I have deployed to web before for my previous game, so it's certainly an option for open and mass playtesting. my main concern is with how exactly multiplayer works because I've never worked with it before so that might take me like month or maybe more to get down at a semi-functional state. right now, I'm still working on the sawblade so it might be a few weeks until i can even consider starting working on multiplayer. thanks for your support!
