This was the Sunday Afternoon Movie yesterday on regular free television (yes it exists). Rather mind blowing on at 1pm after attending church. Ok I didn't attend church, but this movie really was on. I can't believe it went from X in 1970 to NC17 in 1993 and now kids can watch it after cartoons on a weekend and its owned by Disney. Yes all the many titties, butts and nether regions were blurred out, but flesh colored blobs humping on round beds still look rather pornographic. And the whole thing was as chaotic as the trailer. The movie does have all the greatest/worst/cringe lines ever, " I'm the ballsiest cat you'll ever meet." Dig those bongos

"I think Jason Henry kills people... _GIRL_ people!" Maybe someday we'll come up with a name for those.

Don't ever pick up a fight with BILLY JACK (Tom Laughlin), he's one tin soldier whose tough-as-nails and he'll knock you out good.

First film starring singer and songwriter Kris Kristofferson. He was honing his acting skills. After this was Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid directed by Sam Peckinpah. Movie also has Oscar winner Gene Hackman playing a crooked cop. Video is available from the Criterion Collection.

I just saw it and it’s a fun movie and a unique romance. The cast is so good especially Peter Lawford and Kenneth Mars who voiced King Triton from Disney’s The Little Mermaid.
