Thanks for sharing. I just found you guys and subscribed. I just got into growing sweet potatoes and have a few different varieties growing. I also ordered an Okinawan Purple sweet potato it has off white skin and purple flesh and is super sweet. I am making slips for them right now hopefully I can sneak in a grow before winter hits here in Mississippi

Hi good harvest for your first time. loosen your soil for next year they will grow bigger. you can also wait until the leaves are browner. If you can put them in a dark place for abour 5 10 days. DO NOT WASH them until you are ready to eat them. keep going. just get them before your first frost or not more than 3 days after. GOOD JOB

I really love Gardening by the Barn. Because I get to eat some of the harvest, my brother-in-law, Matthew and my nephew and sister really does an amazing job ,so I’m looking forward to eating for the holidays some sweet potato pie and more of their harvest.
