CAMMED Challenger 392 Start-Up & Idle & Revs - FRP “Tomahawk 2.0” 228/238
This 2019 Dodge Challenger 392 / 6.4L Scat Pack comes factory with 485 horsepower & 475 lb-ft of torque mated to a 6-speed MANUAL transmission. The owner wanted to add a unique taste in performance mods, as follows:
-FRP “Tomahawk 2.0” 228/238 cam, 111+2 with cam phaser lockout.
-Manton Racing “FRP Series 3” .083 well 3-piece pushrods.
-PAC valve springs.
-MBRP 3” cat-back exhaust to stock headers & mid pipe (came with the car).
-JLT cold air intake w/ catch can.
-Custom 93 octane tune, Idling at 775 RPMs.
-Barton short-throw shifter.
----------------
During the time/filming of this video, this Challenger was undergoing data-logging for the custom 93 octane tune. The max throttle was about 75% and the rest low - medium pulls to “get a feel for” and “break-in” the new mods and get tuning info.

1946 Crosley Pickup Prototype - ONE OF THREE - In-Depth Review

This is 1 of 3 Crosley Pickup prototypes from 1945-46 in the world living among us, and the kind owner gets to tell us all about it. MY NEW CAR!!! 2023 Toyota RAV4 XLE AWD - Quick Introduction
Переглядів 38911 місяців тому
A very quick and boring introduction video to my 2023 Toyota RAV4 XLE AWD in dark grey with black interior. I will be uploading more videos of this vehicle, doing comparisons to my 2019, and going in depth and technical to the car beyond its “features”. More on that later. Also a better walkaround later.

Subbed! I have a 2021 scat with the 6 spd. Just an AWE cat back, custom tune from Johan and wider wheels/tires so far but looking hard at the tomahawk. I would love to hear your opinions on how she drives with the tomahawk cam. Do you feel like you lost any of that down low grunt? That's my biggest fear going with tomahawk. I've read that it pairs very nicely with a 6 spd vs the auto. Who did the tuning?

I have a 2012 SRT 8 Challenger and bought it used. It had the catch can and Magnaflows. Still has the cats and the sound is great. It destroyed the cam and MDS lifters(never heard the tick , i think due to the loud clicking from injectors). I mean it grooved the cam badly in one spot and you could see two others. Comp Cam stage 2 now with Hellcat lifters , so no more MDS. Tuner re-programmed trans for harder shifts and wow , what a difference. High Horse performance sent everything needed and great support. Love this car in Bright White with the black hood stripes and hashtags. I'm keeping it and have got in a little troble twice with the sheriff's dep. On time showing a Tesla what cool looks and sounds like. It will check your talent in sport mode and if you shut down traction con. you better be alert. Have fun y'all and keep drivin'.

Really Great Video ! Appreciate it , if you could demonstrate why did you choose gas over hybrid?

    • @mike_wellington_
      @mike_wellington_ 4 місяці тому

Thanks for watching and commenting! I might make a video on that actually. All 4 of the RAV4’s (my two, a previous relationship 2021, and current girlfriend’s 2024), have been gas for the few main reasons. While Toyota hybrid are absolutely bulletproof, they come in at a higher price point, cost a tad bit more to insure, and are harder to come by as they are in a way higher demand. The hybrid MPG is only a few points better on the highway than the gas model so in some cases it may not matter to get the hybrid. Also for my last really nitpicking reason (because I mentioned it doesn’t matter as they are bulletproof), less moving parts and electronics to worry about long-term. That said if you are getting a RAV4, and you want the hybrid, they have a very long warranty on the hybrid powertrain, so I would not have you hesitate to get one, or any other RAV4 for that matter. There is no wrong answer to it!

Nice , review , I've got a 21' rav4 LE AWD in MGM , love it , I'm a auto technician myself of 15+ yrs , I purposely chose this generation rav4 due to its simplicity and well known reliability . However I have to disagree with one thing that you stated in the video , You don't have to run the Toyota brand 0w16 in these A25A engines . The ONLY reason Toyota states to use this oil is due to CAFE and EPA regulations . They are held to it by law . When people say its due to "tighter tolerances" , that's false information … I've checked and compared engine clearance specs and there is ZERO difference in connecting rod/ main bearing clearances ranging over 20 + years of Toyota engines . Also the CarCareNut is amazingly talented and knowledgeable but he through out the statement that " the oil pump is calibrated specifically for 0w16" again that's false information . Toyotas that run the exact same A25A engine in other countries, they're owners manuals state that you can safely run a wide variety of viscosities from 0w16 to 10w30 without any issue , of course It mainly depends on ambient operating temperature conditions . You have to remember that Toyota is only out to achieve the highest fuel economy numbers to satisfy these epa/cafe laws , 0w16 is only here to help achieve that , however in my educated opinion , 0w16 does not offer true long-term longevity. I've torn down engines that have ran these ultra low viscosity oils and after 100-150 thousand miles the cylinder walls have major scoring and they burn a large amount of oil . At minimum I would not use anything lower than 0w20 specifically in the winter months . then switch to a 5w30 synthetic for the warmer months . You hit the nail on the head about OCI's . Definitely do not follow Toyotas mentality of "low cost of ownership" running 10000 mile intervals . Anyway keep up the great RAV4 content ! cheers
