This was a great novel. I enjoyed all of it. Realistic and yet still mystical. 10/10, would recommend

James Patterson, you're just in it for the money now. The premise of this book is so infeasible as to border on ridiculous. You've created this character, this homicide detective, who has ten children and they are working on an eleveneth through invitro. A homicide detective in NY makes around $68,000. How in the hell is this character not a frazzled mess trying to feed, house, clothe and otherwise provide for ten children and not moonlighting or working a second job??He would be so stressed over all that, he wouldn't have time to focus on homicides! For a single person to get by and live fairly comfortably in NYC, they would have to earn around $112,000. See what I'm saying? Add to that the Catholicism fed to the reader ad nauseam, and it all added up to: the storyline of the mystery might be a good one (I don't know because my gag reflex keeps kicking in), but I can't move beyond the infeasibility of the background story to find out. Again, it borders on the ridiculous.

Started to get hooked on the hinted mystery but finally gave up. The commercial interuptions were driving me nuts.

I was really starting to get into the story but the commercials wore me down. I gave up.

Solid Story with a lot of details for me. It was a little rough to listen to at times but a great story.

Decent book but you ruined it for me at the end you can hunt wolves by helicopter and the fbi would not interfere.Terrible writing
