Totally agree with you. I watch a lot of these matches and he was definitely matched, maybe even outclassed in terms of power. I wonder if he had an edge in serve/receive though. I saw frequently there were times where he went up a point after serve change but that portion of the video was cut.
@@awl1253 I believe Liu’s strength doesn’t lie in his serve; some people have even complained that his left arm sometimes obscures his serves, which is considered illegal.
@@Shadowless_Kickunderstood. I was meaning his serve and receive may have been effective against this particular opponent and was enough to be the deciding factor. I do agree that his left arm is close to obstructing the serve
