I have used the free version of Bitwarden ever since LastPass increased costs and limited the function of their free version years ago.Also, you don't recommend Later for managing social media? For small churches it is quite sufficient at the free level.

Another cultural moment is polarization. The church has to find a voice that brings “greeks and hebrews, slaves and frees” together.

I was in a church that was in serious decline and ultimately closed years after I left. Those declining years were fantastic. That older congregation was very innovative and was spiritually strong. The hospice analogy is apt.

As someone who has not been part of the clergy, the issue is not fighting secularization, it's meeting the needs of the sheep. I've defended the faith as volunteer and a professional for 20 years particularly in the area of science, but also archaeology, Christian testimony, and cultural observation. Those areas restored me to faith and nourished me when the churches and pastors didn't do much to help, and in some cases hurt. I've spent hours reading testimonies of ex-Christian and disenfranchised Christians, and one can, in a little time see where the needs are. Many pastors I know have the attitude, "it's their problem that they left, the pastors did everything right, these people just want to sin". Many pastors don't seem to ever really search and see where they could actually improve in tending to the flock. I've been a believer since 1978, and most of the sermons from the pulpit have been totally forgettable, many next to useless. Many times, the secular world actually gave far better information in coping with a fallen world! Romans 15:14 says "you are able to teach one another". Some pastors I know think they know it all and have the cure for everything with their un-inspiring sermons. They don't tap into people in their congregation who might actually know better how to tend to the needs of the flock. In some cases, they feel competition with others who are more gifted in certain areas in the church. One way we got around this in our small prayer group is that we brought links to videos we thought met the needs of the group. We'd watch, and if we didn't like something , we'd say so!!! No one's feelings got hurt since they weren't the ones who made the video. We can't imagine a congregation giving such feed back to the pastor, "hey pastor, that really didn't do the job for me as I'm struggling in another area, and you haven't touched on that in 10 years of preaching." We're polite enough, rightly so, not to say stuff like that. So people just leave. Afterall, it's not the pastor's fault if he wasn't gifted to help in certain areas.

I’ve been watching you guys, Bradey and Alex, for some time and man did this show reveal how you guys were able to discuss a very hot issue and end with being a much needed encouragement. The pastor revealed his heart and mind and it was powerful. I’ve never ever felt something such as this on a show. God bless you guys, the pastor, and his family.

Very fast frank conversation about a very hard hitting struggle. I felt the pain joy and the tears in this man’s experience. I was born and raised in church, now 52 years old. I am so happy for his people who found another church to attend and for him to be able to see them at that church. This was not easy to listen to, but I know there’s a lot to learn from. God bless you Man of God. Your Father loves you! And He LOVES your wife and children and the service you all gave to Him. I would love it if you had a back up, meaning if you had another Brother/Brothers you could really gain strength from. Stand tall, you did an awesome job on this show. It really hit home. I really want God to have His way in the church I go to and in the Church as His body, as a whole.

One of the things we've done is have extra Bibles in the suit backs, and when the pastor goes to scripture he will say "if you're using a bible in the seat it can be found on page....." to help direct those that may not be familiar with verse and script are within a Bible.

I can't believe this option exists! I'm SO juiced about this opportunity. TY TY TY. Question: For landing pages do you create one natively using your website and plug in analytics tools or do you use a landing page builder ie. leadpages, mailchimp etc?

I know that a lot of churches are doing this and we looked into it. However agreeing to this statement is required: "Your organization does not discriminate against any person or group of people in either hiring/employment practices or in the administration of programs and services, including on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity." This was something that did not sit well with me when I was looking into setting this up. Our church holds firmly to the biblical standard of marriage and human sexuality. One of our elders is a lawyer and he confirmed my unsettledness. You are potentially opening your church up to significant issues down the road should anyone ever choose to challenge you on this. I know you guys addressed this briefly in the video but I just wanted to folks to be aware that this is not something that is hidden deep in the T&C's. It is a prominent thing that must be agreed to in order to proceed. For us it is a matter of biblical integrity not just a matter of conscience and so we had to say no. Thank you for all you guys do. I've learned a lot from you in recent years.

Is this possible to apply for even if your church isn't official filed as 501c3? In Arizona we are automatically considered tax exempt without filing for non-profit

The capacity, competency & character concept I love. However I do think capacity & competency is more collaborative than the job/responsibility of the leaders in position. Team leaders are responsible for providing frameworks and opportunities to develop. However they cannot force team members to get better, all we can do is empower them with the avenues to do so, but we can't force growth, only encourage it.

Introvert here married to one. WE HATE THE HANDSHAKE DEAL. Stop, enough of it. And calling you out to pray and be acknowledged, just as bad. Where can I hide.

Thank you for bringing this topic us communication leaders to research the current demographics not just our church's current demographics. If we don't consider the next generation, church's will die off with the generation they are currently catering to.

Great video as always! I'm commenting half-way through because you were just talking about capturing "sacred moments." We've been trying to be careful not to get pictures of super private personal moments or prayer ministry, but our ministry model revolves around healing prayer ministry. What would your recommendations be for the type of photos to use on the website when we don't actually take photos of our primary ministry?

This is exactly what my Sr Pastor and I(Associate/media/youth) have been looking for! When making a shot list for my church, is there a way to use those you've shot to provide examples? I have tried downloading some of them for our list, but it is password-required. Thank you for all that you all do! We've learned so much from you already!
