Working out numbers for leasing with Pam out of El Paso, TX. Transitioning from El Paso, TX to Kentucky. Is there anything I should be aware of that wasn't mentioned during the pre-hire process? Do the trucks have cameras facing the driver? Also, at what speed are the trucks governed? Any additional information would be highly appreciated. Stay safe out there!
Not sure about that route haven’t done it, no cameras are facing the drivers, governed at 68 on cruise and 65 peddle for lease drivers. Just make sure to really check the truck you choose to make sure there are no issues with it, just be aware during those first 30days to get what you need fixed. Thank you same to you 😃 and welcome

Blowouts are common with pam. They use crappy recap tires. The drive tires on the truck are recaps too.

They offered me the Arlington to Laredo for 1300… lease purchase.. that sound about right or they playing meh?
No that’s right and if you don’t go over your FSC
If u get 4 trips u will make aprox 800. 1200 for 5 trips. 6 trips is 1650 aprox. 430 miles one way. U do 4-6 a week. Your welcome

@@tesamayee both. But i was paid 50cpm driving for a lease op. Then after 8 months of that i went lease. I did the laredo to dallas lane then did a chrysler lane from kentucky to detroit.

@@tesamayee i worked there about year in total. 8 months laredo to dallas gm lane. 3-4 months kentucky to detroit chrysler lane. Dedicated lanes. Chrysler lane started slowing down after 3-4 months of me on it and I left and went to prime inc. Im now doing otr reefer at prime. Prime pays 50cpm plus fuel bonus ( comes to about 54cpm)…. But after doing that for 2 months i drive for a lease op at prime making 65cpm. Obviously im referring to company position not lease
