Dude. It’s 🔥
Nice ride. I just picked up a 2006 C4S. I kinda want to upgrade to the aero bumpers or gt3..whats a good vendor who makes them? Also where can i get a similar wing? Thx bro
3:58 whats the width of the tyre? 305?
Amazing John
“Align it so you don’t have uneven camber wear” 🤦🏽♂️😅 Camber doesn’t kill tires. Toe does. Listen….ALL sports cars ESPECIALLY track focused ones such as Porsche come with at least -1 to -1.5 degree of camber FROM FACTORY. Doesn’t matter if it’s a 350z, g35, bmw, Porsche, etc. they all have at least -1 to -1.5 from factory. If you rotate tires like you’re supposed too (every oil change) you won’t get “uneven wear” Granted most manufacturers these days say 10-15k miles for oil changes that’s horse shit. 3-5k AT MOST. I ran -4f and -5.5r for 3 years on the same set of STRETCHED tires. 70k miles is how much I put on one set of stretched tires. Why? Bc I had them flipped(staggered so I couldn’t rotate) every 3-5k miles when I did an oil change. And I had my alignment checked every time had tires rotated to make sure everything was still where it was supposed to be since I had free lifetime alignment at Firestone. Anyways moral of the story… camber doesn’t kill your tires, toe does.
looks great!
No start up? Wtf! I thought i was gonna hear you red lining it atleast!
I’ll do an exhaust video sometimes. It’s stock aside from PSE
Could you give any tips for looking for a 997.2 c4S? What to look for, best places to look? Red flags?
did that model have the bumper sensors? my 1996 997.1 does not
@@ocmacman17 this one was optioned with PDC but my previous 997’s didn’t have them
this looks incredible!!!!!!
@@MotorDynasty thank you so much 🙌🏾
Love it
Very clean lines ... Such a perfect car
Thank you!!! One of the many reasons I love the 911 are the timeless body lines
Sweet 997. Are those stock shocks with the H&Rs? And what spacers did you add, it’s perfect.
Thank you! Yes, it’s stock shocks on H&R springs. In the video I was running a 15mm spacer up front and 20mm in the rear. Unfortunately the car would rub with every bump with that set up so I went to a 10mm up front and 12mm in the rear. Drove it around a ton today with no rubbing :)
@@AroundtheKlock-qy8of great job on the build. The car looks dope as hell man.
@@George-sd9ni I greatly appreciate it man 🙏🏾
I spent a lot more than this on my C4S but it doesn’t look any different to when I first bought it. If I wanted a cool looking car, I’d have bought a TVR Tuscan. I spent the money a 4.3 litre motor upgrade and by God was it worth it. It’s a rocket now and can hang with some seriously fast cars.
I respect that. We all have our personal preference. If I only cared about power, I would have kept my 996TT X50
It looks amazing. 🤙🤙
Amazing build! Do you have Instagram to see more pictures?
Yes I do - it’s @jkhlok
.
Great build but I think the yellow is non-matching on the front splitter and rear bumper to the body. The cargo box is just ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥 ...OK i see you've addressed the match later in the video.
Can you share the link for the lights and the test tool that allows you to code the lights? Love that idea!
Great job! Kudos!!
I love it! Amazing build
Thank you! 😁
Looks sick. But, maybe it’s just the camera, the first thing I’ve noticed is the front and rear bumpers aren’t 100% the same color as the body. Still looks good tho
…yep, it’s yellow but not the same shade by the looks of it.
Yeah it was very challenging to match the yellow without having the car. Yellow in general is very tough to match
😎😎😎😎🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾
Nice build and would love a vlog on 5 likes and dislikes of owning your 997 C4S and also how is it compared to your previous C2S? Would love to hear about it since you own so many 997's.
I will consider this for a future video!
You nailed t👌. Yellow is my fa color since childhood 🫡

amazing build! that came together quick and so well. I have been watching a lot of your 997 videos since I recently picked up a 997.1 C2S. Keep them coming!

@@Concienta understandable!
Amazing car, i have the exact same setup and advan wheels. The back tyres are out a bit on my car “without spacers”. Whenever i hit a pothole the tyre rubs the body Do you face the same problem?
Thank you and yes, that happens to mine but it’s because of the spacer being too big. I got a 15mm instead which should make it better. I’ll report back once I get it on there
this is bar far your best 997 creation
I greatly appreciate that!! 🙌🏾
what part# is that proclip
It’s PN: 853540 from ProClip USA. In addition to that, you will also need to get the bracket that’s made specifically for your phone
My goodness. What an excellent build! That yellow is so killer. The 997 is for sure my dream daily.
Thank you very much! When I was younger, I never thought that I’d own a yellow car but this is my 3rd. I think yellow suits the 911 well
beautiful build. Hopefully in a few years the prices on these won't sky rocket and I can pick one up.
Thank you very much! I think that these cars will be future classics and will appeal to people like E46 M3’s. As newer cars become more tech driven, I think the raw and analog feeling will become more nostalgic and desirable
Agree and now you can pick up a 991.1 for the same price as a 997's.
@@lapchoine6600 I completely agree! I’ll always take a 997 over a 991
Nice videos. I am in market for 997.1. Does the miles /km matter. If it is higher like 82,000km on 2008 S.
Personally I think maintenance is more important than mileage. At the end of the day, cars are designed to be driven and not to sit.
That TurboNight badge is 🔥
I always enjoy the vids ty
This is soo funny as i just fitted advan gt wheels on my 997 and its sunflower yellow 😂. Am in 2 minds about the wheels
Very nice! Can you please share the link for the umbrella? Thanks!
Thank you! Here’s a link to the one I bought: www.sunsetporscheparts.com/oem-parts/porsche-pocket-umbrella-wap0500800l
Cool video...a few tips: - your intro is way too long, should be 1-2s max - if you talk about lights/turn signals, you should show how they look when they are on
I appreciate the feedback! Definitely learning as I go but great tips
These are for a supra, Nissan, bmw but not Bentley. Everyone has different taste.

Loving this!! Quality mods!! A lot of them I’m considering but I move a LOT slower. I would love to see it in the sunlight. I have a PTS Ferrari Yellow 997.1 and want to see how those Morimoto headlights and taillights look in sunlight. I think the headlights are too dark for my taste, I’ll probably stay OEM. It the tails and the fogs are pretty likely. I took off my color matched lip and put the black one on. I think with color match the front looks too tall if that makes sense. Plus I want to do the EMC2 side skirts and rear skirts in black, so that’ll all match. Considered the gas cap, it man that’s a lot of money for a plastic “aluminum look” cap. I’d rather pay more for an actual aluminum one. I also put the red “S” behind Carrera but I did not upgrade to the newer 991 emblem. On Rennlist there’s a PCCM+ thread and they’ve figured out the USB in the back and the back up camera. It’s very long tho, you’ve been warned. What struts are you running with the H&Rs? How much of a drop did you get? Also something I’m considering. I have the Bilstein B6s, want to retain PASM and add a DSC controller. How’s ride quality compared to stock? I do not want it to be rough. All in all it looks good and hope it hangs around for a while. Looking forward to the completed build!
Thank you very much for the kind words. Owwww, I’d love to see photos of your car as I’ve never seen a PTS Ferrari Yellow 997.1. I have friends that normally don’t like the Morimoto lights on my previously owned Black and Silver 997 but said it popped on Speed Yellow in a positive way. Personally, I like black housing headlights, especially because the car has darker accents throughout. Anytime I make modifications to a vehicle, I feel that everything needs to be balanced and flow well together. I considered replacing the lens on my OEM headlights and doing the all red taillights but just love the Morimoto lighting. If you do a color matched lip, everything else needs to be color matched for it to flow correctly. I have a set of OEM GT2 sills that are in the process of being color matched. Rear bumper is getting a complete makeover. These was some weird indentations and damage that started from the outside and pushed it outwards. The rear bumper has been repaired and it’s getting repainted with CVD rear bumperette delete, EMC2 rear side splitters and an AF1 rear diffuser. I do agree that the fuel cap was pricey but I really like it. I feel like it will be used since it’s driven often. Yeah I plan to do the back up camera for the PCCM+. This car has PDC sensors but I think the camera will help. I bought a generic universal one and one that replaces the license plate light but still has a smaller light built in. I’m currently running the OEM struts on the H&R springs. They lowered the car 1.2” F/R which is great. Front has no wheel gap and the rear has a 1 finger wheel gap but I plan to bring the wheels out a bit. Personally, I think the H&R springs on OEM struts ride better than the “cheap” coilovers that I had on my silver 997. I enjoy the modding process but need to slow down 😂😂 I plan on hanging onto this one for a while since I’ve been wanting this exact spec since my first ‘06 C2S Aero Car
All red tails would be nice, I’ve mentioned somewhere before I’d be on them like white on rice if Morimoto made them in all red. I’ll reserve judgement on the headlights in black until I can see yours out in the daylight at various angles. Color matching the side skirts and rear skirt is an option, but I like the black. I’m going to have to look up the the AF1 diffuser. Seeing your gas cap does make me want to spend the money, it does looks good. As far as the drop is concerned, I don’t want to go too far. 1 finger gap I think would be good. We’ll see.
I think Speed Yellow is a little more “warm” than Ferrari Yellow. I wanted a SY S with aero kit but when the Ferrari Yellow popped up with just about everything I wanted, whatever. It’s Yellow and if anything a little more unique. There is a guy not too far from me with a speed yellow C2S but we haven’t met up yet to compare SY and FY side by side. Here’s a clip I made real quick from last year: ua-cam.com/video/cr2ObPX81VU/v-deo.htmlsi=LGA-8s-Up6YD4cFb
@@K1dPhresh1 I see exactly what you mean. Warmer is a good term, I was going to say SY is darker and the FY is brighter
@@AroundtheKlock-qy8of Yeah, you got it!
Sorry, but I hate those wheels and the ginormous wing. Strikes me as tacky and juvenile. But hey, if you like it, it’s your car-no one else’s opinion matters. But you did ask…
you said you have a 2006 991? That's an interesting magic trick
997.1 car + 991.2 steering wheel swap = 2006 991. EZ maths
hey can you share where did you get the spoiler from? thanks.
If you love your 997, definitely don't ever drive a 987 Cayman.

Congrats and can't wait to see what mods you will do to this C4S. How many clicks on the car and maybe tell us the journey in how you bought this car!!! As I am looking for a 991.1 would love to see how much you paid and how you got the car would be an interesting video. Subscribed!!
