Going wireless: MEFE Guitar Wireless System Technical Review
Переглядів 13 тис.5 років тому
UPDATE! AFTER SEVERAL MONTHS GENTLE USE SOUNDS STARTS DROPPING OUT FROM TIME TO TIME. I CANNOT FIND THE REASON - SINCE THE UNITS CONNECT AUTOMATICALLY IT MAY DEPEND ON THE CHANNELS THEY 'CHOSE' TO USE. Review and technical analysis of MEFE Wireless guitar system as bought on Amazon. First impressions, look how transmitter fits strat guitar. Compare signal level to cable, distortion, loudness. S...

Really helpful! This was fantastic!
Sweet trick. I just ordered a power bank for some goggles. I will have to try it with the plus. ty
When you're using it wirelessly with the microphone what about the impedance? Isn't it made for a guitar not a microphone?
Thank you so much for this! You pretty much addressed the two things I wanted to know - frequency response and the ability to provide constant power :)
Goooaaaal!
After watching this video I bought one of these. It's crap, there is a nasty artifact you can hear in the background as the note decays. Does your one do this? Play a chord and listen as it fades out. I can't send it back to Amazon as it costs more than the unit is worth (I'm in NZ). It is probably just faulty though. I'd appreciate your comment before I throw them in the bin.
I have same issues, it is producing buzzing sound
The problem with the Swiff audio is that the output is way low compared to a cable used with an electric guitar so for me it loses tons of tone and is unacceptable for this application, HOWEVER, this is perfect for acoustic guitars because you can compensate by just turning up the volume knob on the acoustic. In conclusion I highly recommend it for acoustic guitars.
I own 2 sets. I love em. I run one set guitar to board ,,then board out to amp,,, I find it amazing you complained about the color of the button light.
is there a way to turn up the gain in the unit somehow to match a cable?
Charging the unit while in use can damage the battery
They are under volume to a normal lead. Also with overdrive they make a big hissing noise. Also flat 3 hours. And sent them back. So this tells me you have absolutely no idea what u are talking about.
he literally said in the video that the lead is -18db and the unit is -22
Work great for me.
Great video!!!
Does it fit with Ibanez S Series Guitars?
Yes.
@@MrScatalog Thanks
i have this same model.. the 9E code appeared. i kept trying a normal cycle but it persisted with the 9E.. i pulled the washer out and took off the left side metal panel to watch the float. i tapped the plastic chamber with my finger and the float floated. i opened the washer door and poured about 2 cups of white vinegar into the gray circular grill ( Dishwasher Case Break Cover DD63-00073A shown at 1:05 ). a significant amount of the vinegar went right into the plastic float chamber.. i let it soak for 10 minutes then let the washer complete a normal cycle. so far so good it’s completed 3 full normal wash cycles. i would recommend pouring white vinegar into the gray circular grill before pulling the dishwasher out from the counter.. you don’t even need to take out the dish racks. just open the door and slide the lower rack forward to expose the gray circular grill on the left side. pouring vinegar into the gray circular grill might fix it without pulling the dishwasher out and disassembling it.. you might have to repeat this a few times.. when the 9E appears the washer will drain, the plastic float chamber drains too, then you can pour some more vinegar in there and repeat (start another normal cycle).. by the way, the manufacturer recommends adding 1 cup of white vinegar to the rinse cycle periodically (once or twice a month).. so vinegar is safe to use with this model! (nice video it really helped!!!)
it seems you have to disconnect power to the dishwasher for a few minutes too. the controller board seems to keep a memory of this code causing endless drain cycling, repeating the code endlessly. Make sure you cut power for 10 minutes to reset the controller board memory.. if you are hardwired you’ll have to shut off power using the circuit breaker (or maybe a gfci if that feeds power to the dishwasher)..
привет, датчики еще живые или все равно пропадает звук?
Your guitar is a little like my great great great grandfather's axe. It's only had 6 new handles and 4 new heads :-)
It is very helpful! Thank you very much.
After 90 days, and very little use, the receiver's connection into the amp wouldn't connect without wiggling the unit and it wouldn't stay connected without being held to keep pressure on the 1/4 inch jack. Until this, it was working well...?????
Do you think a usb wifi adapter will interfere with receiver if receiver is plugged into a usb computer-sound interface that sits right next to the wifi adapter??
Wow, what a fantastic review! I came across this product in Amazon Canada which interested me enough to go to UA-cam, to see if it was a worthwhile product for me, and your review popped up. As a 70 year old guitarist / recent lower leg amputee, cables have become a bit of a hazard, and all though the majority of my playing is now in my home studio, I still perform from time to time, with both electric and acoustic-electric guitars. Your review answered every question that I required, including how to increase performance time without the loss of the battery. Thank you so much! Great job!!!
I can't see the drummer. - Chubby little drummer here
Is it use 2,4ghz, or 5,8ghz uhf?at the manual it is state that use 500-600 mhz uhf...

Thank you. My low-level water sensor is just like your's. As my appliances break, I fix them. This has saved me a lot of money. My dishwasher gave me a drain error. The "T" on top of the drain check valve broke off and the round part of the check valve became stuck in the drain hose. This restricted the flow of nearly all of the water. Cost me under$16.00 and my time. I'm pretty sure a service call would cost over a $130.00 plus the mark on the part. Once again thanks.
What frequency range?
50m

I have muslady works well on my bass
Great in depth review. Thank you very much!
What frequency range does this run on?
uhf...ironically this seems to be the best bet lately...there is 2.4 and 5g wifi signals everywhere in bars and from peoples cell phones, also digital mixers all run off wifi these days, and also especially a problem is wireless dmx lighting uses 2.4g. my $500 shure wireless runs on 2.4ghz and often has problems...my xvive is completely unusable live.
BRAVO! Vraiment impressionnant comme explications. Five Stars presentation!
My only problem is the lag or delay. You play a note and half a second later the note comes out
Thank you for sharing !! :-)
I just bought one but the user manual is in Chinese. Can't read a word of it. Do they have a website I can go to download? I haven't had any luck finding one.
Try this link - it's the same model, by a different brand if I may say so - check the image on the left - one of them shows the manual. It should be pretty straightforward though. www.amazon.ca/Muslady-Wireless-Transmitter-Transmission-Rechargeable/dp/B07G3YN4ZC/ref=sr_1_30?ie=UTF8&qid=1547001235&sr=8-30&keywords=guitar+wireless+system
Sorry for our mistakes, this is just an accident. We have sent the English version of the manual for the customers who bought the product during that time. I hope that you have received it.
@@chinly5811 I did receive it and appreciate the quick response. However I do have something new to add. I've been using this unit for about 2 months and it's worked fine. But the unit just stopped working this past week. They seem to charge ok and the receiver/transmitter (appear to) sync, but no more sound. I've already contacted Amazon to ship me a replacement. So here's my questions. Is it ok to keep the units on charge after they have fully charged? Several musicians use these in my church and need to remain charged, which may be plugged in for several days. Can the units be damaged if the the receiver and transmitter are accidentally switched? i.e. transmitter plugged to amp and receiver plugged to guitar?
@@bcain5823 We have received your email and reply, please check it. 1. No issue. Auto power off when full charge. 2. No issue. You will find there is no sound when in backwards, just correct it. If you have other problems, please feel free to contact us:)
i just got one and so far it seems to work well. i agree that the plastic is not re enforced so dont drop it or bump it to hard. what i did to prevent the unit from moving around too much was put a lil piece of valcro on it and on my guitar. if i knew how to include a pic in this comment id show you
Played a couple of small gigs with it - so far so good. The signal level is indeed weaker, so mind the gain staging on input.
good follow-up video. Thanks
Thanks for the video. Mine is the same setup and after cleaning it out of all the sticky stuff you mentioned it worked! Again, UA-cam is a life saver!
I damaged the net, did you have to replace the whole thing? or is there a part to replace just the net? these are the worst dishwashers i have ever owed. I have the similar problem and it's awful.
You really saved me. My Samsung DW7933 would show 5E code. Which is a drain error. I noticed after your video. The float was not moving up. I tapped on it. Sure enough my dishwasher started working fine. Thank you for the tip.
Thanks, I am glad I could help :)
