This man and Dr. Patrick J. Hayden(Doc Hayden) have really opened my eyes to so many truths and helping me reprogram my brain, lol. Doc Hayden said that our flesh wasn't saved it was our spirit man that was saved. All satan can do is attack us in the flesh and cause distraction. Just keep focus on Jesus instead of self and sin. I had the holy spirit show me something very recently.....the passage to be sober minded...and Satan is a roaring lion prowling around to devour someone.....the holy spirit showed me that sober minded doesn't mean to do drugs and drinking....a person attacked me very harshly recently and they were not on drugs nor drinking alcohol.....so I was shown that to be sober minded was also meaning to control our tongue in moments of emotions....especially moments of anger....because Satan can prey on peoples emotions to the point of using the tongue to attack others...it was in that moment that I truly understood how important it is to discipline ourselves and to control our tongue in moments of emotions....learning self control....it was a moment that I will never forget....and I was blown away because two passages from the Bible were literally playing out before my eyes....I walked away from this person.....I didn't retaliate...which is not like me....and every time I tried to open my mouth...nothing could come out....

I always looked at the holy spirit as a guide in life.....like that little quiet voice that might warn you of something....or to reveal something to you..that maybe you are not seeing....

I dont fear whats written in Revelation and agree about it being symbolic. My question to you is what do all that symbolic language mean. And if it is all symbolic then that means when it says that Jesus is coming soon that too would be symbolic! Which is not the case.

I've attended so many churches who increase/encourage tithing to build a 2 million dollar new children's wing, etc. ....they pray and pray for more ey to build more and bigger churches, rooms, wings. Never bought it!

We believe it _actually_ becomes His Body and Blood. substance of the bread and wine changes to the body and blood of Christ, while the accidents remain bread and wine. All Orthodox, Anglicans and Lutherans believe in this. Also, if “the flesh is of no avail” means what you think it means, that would also mean Christ’s flesh that He spoke of earlier is also of no avail… 2) It is not the priest forgiving, it is Jesus forgiving through the priest. Again, Orthodox, Anglicans and Lutherans adhere to this, as well. 3) Your #2 & #3 are basically the same thing…? 4) You should read Letter to the Corinthians 1, 58-59, 63 [A.D. 80]) by St. Clement, (Letter to the Romans 1:1 [A.D. 110]) and (ibid., 3:1) by St. Ignatius and (Letter to Pope Soter in Eusebius, Church History 4:23:9 [A.D. 170]) by St. Dionysius to start off with. As a born Catholic who turned away from them i lost all faith went through addiction a very dark road leading to incarceration and despair for many years then through a wonderful friend was introduced to being a Christian who tested my resolve left that building feeling empty but i always believed in Jesus and knew i had to keep searching and believing and your walk talks popped up. I'm learning everyday Recently my trust in Jesus helped me through a very rough situation in his way not mine glad to say it was an awesome feeling that came over me Matt i can not tell you how much you have helped me with this.
