Spider defeats Millipede
Переглядів 1,3 тис.21 годину тому
I’d originally called it a centipede but was corrected. An interesting one sided battle . It’s one sided as apparently millipedes cannot bite whereas centipedes can.

The Torre de los Molinos gave the town its name The origin of the town’s name is found in the Torre de los Molinos (Tower of the Mills), later called Torre Pimentel after a soldier who helped Ferdinand and Isabella conquer Malaga at the end of the 15th century. The tower stands between calle San Miguel and Cuesta del Tajo, on the way to Bajondillo beach. The Torre Pimentel was built more than 7...

Have saw this on the news. Looks a great spot to call in
That's the larger rescue vessel. Just like the Coast Guard here.
It's a millipede, not a centipede. Much easier to defeat.
@@dfwald4657 I looked it up.. you are completely correct… I didn’t know the difference…apparently centipedes can bite , millipedes can’t .. very interesting, thanks for input… I’ll change the title to millipede instead of centipede. 👍
Wow 🎉❤❤
Great video 👍
Thanks very much… cameras a bit shakey but lovely part of the world.
Well, thanks for the vid, good sir! To my shame, I was completely unaware of this existing (to my justification it's to be said I'm no religious man). Anyways - I've got another point in my bucket list after war, thanks!
Could circumvent that hole, by cutying off the barrel. As far as the bullets though 🤔
great stuff
I have one from my grandfather... Made in Germany. was a toy for children . in Argentina was called "catkillers" in 6 mm flobert, very small but the shot was dangerous... Nice video Greetings from Buenos Aires, Argentina
MGNIFICENT! GOD BLESS YOU GENTLEMEN!
They were fantastic.. I was so lucky to see them.. they only do this parade every 2 years… right place right time… heroes everyone of them
That is my great grandas grave, excellent video and information didn't know as much about him as you've explained due to my dad's dad dying when he was very young and him not being told much about his granda.
Hi.. I’m so glad you liked the video… and am pleased you have found something out about this hero. .. I am very happy to send you by email any records I can find on him… no doubt I got this information from his service records… if you are unfamiliar with the family members I can forward census etc , which may help you find other relatives.. absolutely no charge , I’m retired and enjoy researching family trees / histories etc.
Yes if you could that would be great thanks

@@IansOddInterests sent you an email there
Jamie I’d left my email on here but you didn’t send me a test so I could send you stuff, so I removed it.. didn’t want to leave it up and have my details available .. can you let me know if you still want the details and we’ll try again
1st July 1916. Never forget, never again. Youth sold down the river for greedy gits
I’ve been there a few times with friends, there’s another basement level a good 20 feet underground. I think there’s a tiny hole in what was the great hall that you crawl through and it takes into a long (maybe 80ish feet) hallway about a foot wide and 6 foot tall that leads to a dead end. Really creepy
Must have have a massive work force & engineering workshops etc
Just incredible, makes ya think of the movie Das Boot
Incredible engineering
You have a great channel (I’ve just subscribed). Looking through your Channel video history we have done some similar videos!
Good job well done Ian. Excellent wee piece of research. Best wishes from the Belfast Castlereagh hills.
I've often wondered might there be something buried of interest below the Mound. I wonder if it has ever been scanned or even metal detected! You could easily brake your ankle there! You seem to have plenty oof information on De Coursey etc Best wishes from the Belfast Castlereagh hills.
I know Knockbreda Churchyard well. I love this wee bit or extra research. Well done! Best wishes from the Belfast Castlereagh hills.
William 💔🥺
I think you need to do better research. This little area isn't historic at all - it was built in the 80s! It's a lovely area and busy at night.
Is the UDR the finest fighting force
Maybe not the finest, but undeniably the men were the bravest, especially those who served in border counties and had no protection as they went home every night.
Yes, I am pedantic. NO, that is not a Browning pistol. It is a model 1910, designed by John Browning and manufactured by "Fabrique Nationale de Armes du Guerre" (National Manufacturing of War Weapons) in Herstal, Belgium. (Still around, called FN.) As a firearms company, Browning did not exist until around 1955. One notes the severe wear on the right grip panel and the much lesser wear on the left panel. For a right handed person - typically the majority in this era - the holster is mounted on the belt with the right side out. Having the left grip inboard would protect the checkering and finish on the left side a bit better. That pattern is observed on all sorts of 'working' handguns practically forever. On the positive side, Yes, I would like to have one. I collect select pistols of the pre WW2 era (at least designed then) and the FN1910 is high on my desired list. I do have an FN1910/22, but it isn't quite the same. And I quite agree with Mr. Collins (prior to me), Browning designs are outstanding. John M Browning was a genius in his craft, and is quite as important to firearms as Dr..Einstein was to Physics.
操**的不要在那邊戰士9種拿出來😅😅
I think I might have one of these. Belonged to my great grandfather. I'm going to check into it to see if I can find out anything about it .
Máirseáil uafásach 🙄
Thanks for the constructive contribution.
Nice video! I've got the Lot #256 Dated Oct 5 1886 and other than a chip on the bottom of the plastic grip it's in perfect condition. You are right about the trigger pull. I have to do some finger exercises to fire the darn thing. Otherwise it's clean and fully functional so I'll keep it for now.
What is this farce!
Oh dear Timbo. Very sad. It’s the local community from the old to the young coming together to go to church to remember those from the Commonwealth Countries that gave their lives so you can voice your opinion.
In 1977, my US Navy ship, the USS Plymouth Rock, was assigned the task of bringing on board about fifty 5-ton wooden reels of copper cable that had been left behind during WWII at the La Rochelle sub pens. Very interesting location.
“One day the great European War will come out of some damned foolish thing in the Balkans." Otto von Bismarck tried to warn us.
Yes , he sure could foresee the future .. that combined with a load of stupid alliances , ..the stupid thing was , if France and invaded Belgium instead of Germany in 1914 we would have fought France!! The U.K. only went to war in 1914 to protect Belgium from any invader!!! Bonkers…should have left Germany, Russia and France to fight it out and the U.K. stayed out of it
@@IansOddInterests Also, Germany was too stubborn to renew the Reinsurance Treaty.
that Piper is a schoolboy - maybe army cadets. My guess is he is from Campbell College pipe band.
I didn’t realise Campbell College had a pipe band. I knew they have a great military history and tradition. Thanks for that information. I must look into that.
@@IansOddInterests yes, indeed, enjoyed the video.
That was beautiful played
Yep. When the bagpipes are played like that , they have so much emotion.
There were lots of companies in the US making revolvers back then, which made competition for sales intense and kept the potential for profits low. Many of the bigger manufacturers offered a number of brands (with price-attendant quality) as a way to better make money. Most of the smaller companies made the cheapest possible guns which quickly broke or wore out in use, while others like H&A made good products worthy of ownership and use. Even with the quality, it should be remembered that most of these were built for black-powder pressures, and firing them with modern smokeless ammo can be dangerous to gun and user. The folding hammer spur on this one is an idea I'd like to see revisited; a perfect compromise between smoothness and utility.
Thanks so much for the very knowledgeable reply.
Super cool Just got a 1905 top break 38 S&W with the pinch Release Just looking for the main spring. May modify an Iver Johnson Spring. Very Similar.
Oh wow.. you are braver than me. I just bought a very cheap Adams percussion revolver but spring broken. I’m terrified of opening it as I hear it can be like a shower of springs opening revolvers. Someone said open them over a sheet so that you can find them all. Whether that’s true or not I don’t know. But good luck 🤞
@@IansOddInterests Nah there are take down videos on basically every Firearm, just watch, pause, do that step, unpause and repeat lol

Idk if I've misunderstood you, but your aware the Royal Irish Regiment is the British army right?
These are proud British soldiers. Your username suggests you should understand that.
Very cool ian
Amazing how a empty field with cows in it holds a relatively unknown history.

Hi..yep , totally agree. Not well advertised or signposted. But once you find it definitely worth the effort.
looks like a grand day out old chap
Best thing was I just stumbled upon it. Turned up 5 minutes before the cars. A lucky accident.
Omg these just stop oil people get everywhere 😂
Not really. Nothing to do with protesting. Quite the opposite.
@@IansOddInterests well find a park and stop blocking the road
@@gordonfleming458 you sound bitter. Why did you watch this or make a comment when you obviously have a issue. These parades are advertised months in advance, diversions are in place. No disruption is involved. In fact some of it went through a pedestrian part of the town where no cars go, and it went to a park for religious ceremony.
Bizarre
No not really, just a traditional parade . Not everyone’s cup of tea but it’s a very dignified parade with a religious service held in the field.
@@IansOddInterestswho was the priest 😂
It is interesting how the majority of Pagan sites in U.K. ingrained in local history were tweaked and altered to suddenly become Christian.
