Not sure if you know by now, but I don't believe that you ever found the "hub" in this demo. All the NPC's you talked to and sent away, were all together in a hub area right at the beginning section where the demo starts. They gave upgraded gear, and sold crafting items and bandages, potions, etc. Location was the starting travel node, and then go to the right side of the screen - ( most people go to the left and continue that way ).

unfortunately the game can't be 100%ed. 1 missing camera in crystal pits, scourged the whole map and found none, besides the respawning cameras in the pit of killing spikes in 2 areas (the final area too...). if you enter the game you'll see the map being not 100%ed with the new map tracker

10:05 - So this large shield you picked up I also got in my game, but the "special" ability you see here "Inner Strength" I can't get it to activate. It shows in the game as the same control combo as the "parry" but nothing happens when I do it. Same goes for the 2 handed sword, it also has an ability ( LT + X ), but nothing happens when I press the buttons. 🤷‍♂

Thanks for doing this demo playthrough with commentary, I am about half way through it and I see several things I missed. It's pretty tough to find any videos on this demo with decent commentary, where the person playing is skilled and knows the souls playstyle. I'm not a big fan of side scroll games, but this one I am looking forward to, I hope it's not too long before release.

Why did you do the "Grave Thirst" Incantation... only to deliberately-ignore the weapon *with* the "Grave Thirst" on it's given-night?

You should *ALWAYS* use a 'Chaos Gate'; they, ultimately, have information for you...

...An Animal Familiar can protect you-as-Melinoe from being turned into a sheep by Hecate...

Cant seem to find location of Bastardville’s entrance, and its where I’m supposed to to go there but … where in the heck ..?

The map of the city-state (Polis) of Ephyra only becomes available to you-as-Melinoe *once* you-as-Melinoe casts the Incantation in the Crossroads Cauldron for "Seeing-eye Bats", said-bats are in the sparkly-cages around the main part of the city... They provide you with a 'birds-eye-view' of what's where to be found, while you-as-Melinoe are trying to bring-down the barrier...

I think I’d struggled in this section way too much as it was the first area I visited and I had not grasped the language of the game yet. Looking back it is so obvious the objective is to make the vertical moving platforms to go up while horizontal moving platforms to go leftwards so that you can reach that upper left section. You hit the mice running in wheels with the yoyo and to accomplish both, you traverse between fish heads. So simple. Yet I genuinely gave up, completed the other 3 and got back to this one and done, just like that. Damn this game’s good.
