The Chinese servers hold data from accounts all over the world, and due to laws set forth by the ccp (Chinese Communist Party), they are legally obligated to share the files with them.

youtube itself is spyware, so is every major browser and search engine, so is every social media app, and so are many programs that people use. No matter what you do, if you're using the internet, your information is being scraped and sold. There's nothing you can do about it, so in my opinion, just use whatever browser you want. It's certainly a privacy concern, but it's impossible to hide your digital footprint.
