From Thrash to Jazz and Back with Alex Skolnick
Man that last line needs to be on a T-shirt. "Telecasters are a body style, not a life style"
Kerry 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔝🔝🔝🤘🤘🤘
I have never heard Kerry smack this much, he is going crazy with it. Hydrate this man.
Somebody should've gotten Kerry a bottle of water.
if you want hardcore, one kid's jaw got dislocated here in Istanbul back in 98 , in the mosh pit.
Tom does great in TX. I met him at a Walmart and he was so gracious and cool.
I have a floyded guitar but Kahler is the truth and the way for me. Cheers from Morocco
Oh wow okay so this is what I need lol
Bros guitar looks like a Trek communicator that got fu*ked up in the transporter.
Dude's just got a headstock stuffed right in his face
😅
Shut up. Talkers😊
Coincidentally Kerry is wearing a Rainbow Rising t shirt after the confusion about rainbow.
Sad one’s more to see , as in a bunch of other interviews with Kerry talking about his guitar brands he played They (he) always forget (for what ever reason) to mention about his ESP guitars he played ,too (one of the best guitar company’s ever since the late 70tis) He played ESP guitars during the Seasons Of The Abyss era back in the late 80tis
If I could own any one of kings guitars, it would be his black and red ESP V. I never understood why he didn't stay with them...they were good enough for jeff🤔
The satan thing is so lame. Unlistenable.
Womp womp
DAve AND KERRY !!!
If you dont know Kerry you are NOT a Metalhead🤘🏼🔥Kerry Rules Cheers from a long time fan here in Norway🤘🏼🔥
awesome interview
Thanks so much for making this guy talk about his BC Rich guitars. Thats what i always wanted to hear from him anyway! Way to go.
Gorilla Biscuits!
Awesome interview 🤘 Thank the algorithm gods for us finding each other can't wait to dig through the back catalog
i was told as a teenager by an older metalhead that you yell "slayer" at every show BUT slayer.
enraged I’m not the first commenter!
Sorry Dimbag Darrel did better Harmonic squeels
Pff that's a cold hard fact! Dime was the G.O.A.T. 🏆🥃 333
Cant Cindy speak?😂
I grinned so hard when he talked about Will Sergeant. My absolute ride or die guitar hero. The most important and criminally under referenced guitarist in alternative music history.
Don't talk about "during covid" anymore. Sick of it.
Kid Congo fkn rips- this entire series is so great!
Great interview! I had to stare at the white crumb on Steve's shirt until 54:22 when he finally wiped it off his shirt..
Good stuff. Joe knows the score. Any decent guitar….you can rule the world.
Says the guy with ALL the gear.😂
Yeah more Doritos, have you seen the video of Jimmy page playing with Aerosmith? Spread the caviar!
Love how he called that stupid spark, everyone went nuts over, garbage. It is.
Joe was fucking on one this interview. Absolute legend. The best 😂🔥😤
Great video!
Thank god he didn’t become a physicist because he’s so phenomenally, bombastically spectacular!
yadda yadda yadda
That was fun!
Great interview! Ironic, I get to the end of the interview, and as I sat there plunking my '57 LP JR (during the entire interview) which I bought from Clyde @ Timeless Guitars, I hear the Custom Amps story. Who knew?
Talking about Megadeth and leaving out Chris Poland was a surprise, especially since he was rhetorical other major fusion guy
Poor Joe, I think he said he was born at the wrong time, instead of interviewers asking about your first kiss,no it's when did you see your first PAF kid,he never had a chance to grow up slow, but your doing good job of it now Joe, love your toys man. 🤣👍🆒
If you don’t hear it you can’t play it
I remember seeing this girl on an episode of a rock school show that had Richard Christy and Alex Scholnik on it. They played Crystal Mountain by Death. I don't know how or why I remember this.. but I remember that the performance was great...but that the vocals were absolutely awful. heheh. This girl is a killer player.
"This is terrifying. But glorious!" 🤣🤣 Facts!
I see Joe, I watch!
That doesn't feel honest
Upcoming artists should carefully listen to anything and everything Joe has to say concerning how to make a living as a professional musician. The most astonishing thing that I have heard him say over the years was how independent sales differ from major label sales (all depending on your deal, of course). But I was shocked when he said that in order to make the same amount of money that he would have made selling 3 million albums on one of his old major label deals, he would only have to sell 30,000 copies independently. That is crazy. He didn't break it all down..so I don't know if that including paying back advances and fancy dinners...etc... But removing two Zeros from the figure is shocking, either way.
His playing completely changed when he moved to Europe and locked himself in a flat with no furniture for a year, he came out with everything Eric Johnson ever played. Similar to Eric gales sounds
Anything with Bonamassa and Mike Hickey is an instant listen for me.
They are called printed circuit boards or PCB’s
I perked up a little when he mentioned Audley Freed. He is still in my top 5 guitarists of all time.
Kiss was in no way metal.
