Lovely bike but prices for these have gone out of my reach. I paid £1600 for an immaculate one in 1984.

I had an AP50 in 1976 , my first bike , just left school baking hot summer , long hair and spots , my mates had "fizzys" and one had the Honda SS50 which just couldn't keep up with us , halcyon days indeed ..........oh and the music was definitely much better .

Diamond sky blue is the color. Had it's stateside brother, the KZ1000. Ran it against gs1000's, xs11's, Kawi 750 triples and the big 4 never seen a tail light. Ran 11's in the 1/4. Miss it dearly.

A very well built bike back in the day but always in the shadows of the rest of the super Peds of the day 😊👍

I repaired an ap50 for a young lad back in the day. He'd fitted a nice new long reach plug that got the gap adjusted by the piston.

Does this have AUTOLUBE, ? my 1976 example of an AP50 had its oil tank on / as its RH side panel with a clearly obvious chrome screw cap , ! it had a decal saying "Suzuki CCI " and lower down a rubber grommet with a metal plunger device that you pushed in to keep an eye on the 2 T oil level . I cant see any of that , so is it a work round that is now reliant on pre mix ? Its a fair question because if so its not original and therefore over priced, I would have thought it in your interests to clarify.

My first bike was an AP50 my mate had the A50P the main difference mine was always breaking down. Terrible points. I learned a lot about maintenance in that year. His was restricted mine wasn't. As a result mine was quite fast. I got clocked doing 50mph on flat level road with no wind. It was quicker than all my mates Fizzies.

Rubbish, bring out the fizzy 🤣🤣🤣 only old people like me will get that joke.. we used to ride these as teenagers in the 70s, and there was two camps, this and the yamaha fs1 (which i had).. we used to race these to see whos was faster.. good old days.......

had two of these back in the 70's and 80's both second hand and in great condition. great bikes then the GT 250 came out but i always liked the hustler often known as the super six. Nice video.

That is a CBR 954 FireBlade. Calling it a CBR1000RR means you do not know your business.

It’s a cbr900rr, the first 1000 blade arrived in 2004 with the under seat exhaust

64 years old and still working truly incredible.

Is this a 2016 Aprillia as the reg plate shows a 05 model and mot check shows first registered with DVLA in 2016 but manufactured in 2005

What a beauty!!!..good price as well, would prefer that to most modern bikes. Correct me if I'm wrong, but they were classed as a sports bike way back when... I seem to remember the travelling marshals using them at the TT... can't believe the current ones are juggernauts on 2 wheels

i had an identical one in 1976 . had a watsonian sports sidecar fitted to it . pulled a camping trailer also . our son was 3 years old . part exchanged it for an M G B gt car .

You know when you laugh and nearly s#!t yourself ? This is one of them times lol. Is a nice bike but probably worth half what he's asking now. The market is absolutely dead for these now. Glad I sold mine when I did. Crazy greedy dealer probably gave 6k for it himself

Don't think the wheels were that shiny on the originals, or the top of the barrel and the bottom of the head for that matter. It's over 40 years ago so I may be wrong.
