The Big Swindle
James O'Neill (1800-1879) was the owner of the O'Neill Store in Duanesburg from 1826- 1879. In 1872 he was one of the wealthiest men in Duanesburgh. When he passed away his son, Emmett O'Neill, took over the business. Emmett (1840- 1892) went on to become Town Supervisor in Duanesburgh, and then a State Assemblyman. He later moved to Schenectady were he was the Director of the Schenectady Bank...

With 4.19" of rain observed in Duanesburg I wondered how the Bozenkill was doing in the Christman Preserve. Since it was still raining I had the whole place to myself. The waterfall was Ripping!
