It was interesting to see how willow was able to be possessed by the first evil and show her dark side again despite turning good after being evil in the last series, it proved she didnt want to ever go back to being evil again because she didnt like that side of her or to ever want to feel that way again.

Every single quote you picked not only works well on its own, but flows so well onto the next one, it's like all the characters are telling her story at the same time. Anyone else thought that maybe Buffy had secretly found Spike attractive but somehow surpressed her desires on a count of Spike not only being a Vampire but also having no soul. If they had given her a hard time in the past for dating a vampire 🧛‍♂️ with a soul, dating another one without would he twice as hard. I never really believed that she had no feelings for Spike. I think that Spike telling her that she had somehow come back dark or a bit evil gave her the excuse she needed to explore that side with the excuse that she was not her full self and anyway no one would find out because it would be there secret. I do believe that most of her was numb and needed to feel something but i also know that there was a part of Buffy she had hidden deep into her unconsciousness that had been attracted to Spike. You can see subtle signs of this in "Something Blue, Fool For Love and other episodes like the one where they lost their memories but she still ended up saving Spike and took him Patroling..

No need literally no need for her to die. She was one of the best always honest and spoke her mind. She didn't deserve to die, Xander never deserved her. Her and spikes death in one episode I couldn't handle I had 3 fav and all are dead this show ending and angels ending were just nah

What do you make of this scene compared to the big scene in Red? In this one, both agree Spike wouldn't spy on Buffy, which is more about violation. She says 'I know'. As Buffy is a formidable Slayer, their physical fighting has been a part of the dynamic since the start. Red, though, is about physical violation, which I think is uncharacteristic of Spike. He wouldn't, in my view, violate/harm Buffy, Dawn, Joyce - by now he has solid baseline love, respect and sense of protection for Buffy and the Summers women. He'd die for them and also forgave Buffy immediately after she beat him up terribly and attended her birthday party the very next day. What do you make of this? He does reach rock bottom in Red, and the spectacular season 7 arc comes from that of course. Still, curious to hear thoughts :)

One of my favourite scenes with them. He's just taking her in, studying her so intently and letting her aliveness wash over him, time and again. He sees her in a way others don't. This is a nuanced and beautiful scene. Once again Marsters is incredible with his microexpressions and you can see Spike/WIlliam's empathy and kindness clearly here ❤ Thanks for uploading!

So glad i found this channel, new fan of Buffy here, finally watching the series for the first time. I love Spike he’s definitely my fav character and his relationship with Buffy is everything.

Still not sure how Buffy had both of Spike’s arms pinned against the wall and still managed to open his shirt like that but I’m not really complaining because I love a shirtless Spike. Lol
