Ironically, Askin himself stated last cour that he's always being underestimated because he gives off the impression of an underling, which actually works to his favor, given how strategic he actually is beneath all the goofiness. It's been a while since Cour 2, but Askin was the only regular Sternritter selected to join the Royal Guard when they attacked the Royal Palace. Without Kirinji (hot spring guy) interfering, he would have killed Nimaiya (zanpakuto creator) in his base form alone with just his Schrift ability, and that was BEFORE Yhwach even used the Auswahlen to power the Royal Guard up. Then after that, he was able to defeat Kirinji 1v1 with just his cunning and a bow. It shouldn't be surprising that characters weaker than Squad Zero like Grimmjow, Yoruichi, etc. are struggling against him haha.

Put simply, Askin's Death Dealing can control how much of a substance it would take to kill you. If he decreases your tolerance to oxygen, oxygen (and breathing by extension) would become toxic to you and it would poison and kill you. If he increases his own tolerance to something like cyanide, he would become incredibly resistant/immune to it because it would take more and more cyanide to even affect him. His power is basically "better kill me with one shot or I'm going to become immune to whatever you do." Because he survived both Yoruichi and Yushiro's Shunko attacks, they literally can't damage him with spiritual pressure based attacks, hence why Yoruichi shifted to just throwing straight hands, something he can't really become immune to lmao. Because the Death Dealing isn't suited for straight head to head combat but rather a more drawn out battle where he has time to adapt and adjust lethal dosages, it makes sense that his strategy is to act like a troll and run around a lot.

They also Appeared in the flashbacks with Ichibei. The Sniper girl was the one that shot at Ichibei.

I don’t think they age like humans, at least these quincies. They met 1000 years ago. This is before the quincies invaded the soul society. We only know this due to Yhwach eyes. He has the almighty. The almighty was taken from him by ichibe. Then he was killed by Yama.

Yhwach's power is basically loan shark, he give people power and take more back. Kubo said that they need to be young and powerful to survive Auswählen, so Bazz-B is actually talented. In the manga, Bazz-B and two other Sternritters(F&U) tried to attack Yamamoto when he met the fake Yhawach, but they got wipeout by Ryujin Jakka. They survived because Bazz-B said his flames were able to offset Yamamoto's.

Ya sadly the CSM adaptation was significantly more successful in the west than Japan. I hope the small style change fixes that.

I didn't read the manga so this is what I got from this. I think Jugram didn't want to fight Bazz-B at all. He declined his challenges because it would have ended like it ended here. Jugram was on a whole different level. He still considered him as friend but also maybe he felt some pity on him? The hot headed "genius" who thinks too much about himself, doing dumb things that could kill himself. Felt like Jugram as a commander still tried to protect him. Also Jugo had an abusive uncle, a horrible childhood to be fair, he might see things a bit different and imagine that feeling when someone big like Yhwach tells you, you are a big deal and he needs you. That moment had to be huge for him. A life changer. I really, really felt bad for Bazzard. Being actually talented (I'm sure he was before meeting Jugo), having lots of potential. Feeling big, high and mighty just to come to realization that he's not that much of a deal, the "talentless" Jugram's present gave him a big boost... a world just collapsed inside of him. How jealous he was there. But at the end the battle was probably unavoidable. And it really sucked Jugram just killed him without any challenge. But while he didn't show emotions, I'm sure he felt really bad.

So to give some context with Haschwalth, it's subtly conveyed that when Yhwach was conquering his territories in the Human World to create an army for the very first invasion of the Soul Society that we know they would end up losing (quite badly) and he tore down Bazz-B's manor because they could not be brought to heel, we can assume that Jugram was not actually bothered by what happened at all because his uncle was hinted as abusive. While Bazz treated the incident as Yhwach taking his entire life and family from him, Jugram may have considered it a GOOD thing, even, as he was free. He stuck around with Bazz-B and pretended to want what he wanted cuz he would actually have a friend, and Bazz early on DID believe in Jugram's potential. As time goes on and Jugram fails to advance as a Quincy, Bazz loses faith that his friend will actually be of any help to his revenge but keeps him around because he actually likes him and admires Jugram's grit and determination to grow as a swordsman. But when the Stern Ritter started recruiting and that whole incident portrayed in the episode occurred, Jugram was presented with a revelation that Bazz, while meaning well, truly valued killing Yhwach above even his friendship and looked at him with scorn when he was chosen instead. And then, to hear Yhwach finally say the words "I need you", Jugram felt like aiding Yhwach was the best thing for himself as he never wanted to kill the King in the first place. They separate on those terrible terms and Bazz-B feels like he needs to prove himself to Jugram now since Yhwach told Bazz his talent was a result of Jugram feeding him extra reishi for five years. In the end, Jugram never did give Bazz the time of day outside of official duties ever again, and at the end of all things when Yhwach kills most of the Quincy that served him and Bazz is left without his Holy Form, Bazz confronts Jugram one more time in a final bid to get the revenge he wanted since he was a kid and finally settle things with Jugram. And he loses. Badly. But then, in that moment, he realizes he didn't actually mind the idea of Jugram growing up to be stronger than him. He never actually feared losing that fight. And as Bazz's last thoughts, his "last words" are of the childhood nickname for Jugram, we contrast with Haschwalth's final words to him being his full, formal name. Haschwalth denied the friendship and Bazz realized he never hated Jugram in the first place, a sad contradiction that leaves one dead and the other pretending nothing is wrong. After all, the end poem Jugram speaks claims that as long as he keeps his eyes on the greater good he will feel no pain. How delusional. Perhaps later on we will see Jugram break his mask that he wears to feel useful for Yhwach. I look forward to it. Hell of an episode. Sorry for ranting and waxing poetic like that lol. I just have thoughts on the episode.

A nice touch to this episode that further demonstrates how powerful Jugram was even when they were kids was how he was completely unaffected by Yhwach's spiritual pressure when he pulled up to the village. He was just standing straight up.

They didn't use CGI in season one for Denji, everything was hand drawn except for a small part of the Katana man devil fight. The key animators themselves released the the layouts of all of the scenes and it was all hand drawn

No, the snowscape isn't Jeju Island ;) Jeju Island just contains ants as shown in episode one if you remember. And it's still summer in the world of Solo Leveling as we know. I guess you can imagine what other place it is. The smelling thing was basically already hinted in Episode 12 where she was in the helicopter with the other high rank hunters, she can "smell" hunters which emit a bad smell, which she is very sensitive to normally. For what reason whatever, they cutted this explanation out in the helicopter scene halfway (maybe because the fight needed too much screentime). All what you realized or hinted was pretty good prediction btw :D
