56 years later, and this takes me back to my hippie days -- which I for one never left. Tuned in, turned on, dropped out. And then the acid. Best years of my life, by far. Thank you, sir. And for all the gripers about taped music -- who gives a fart! Close your eyes. Open your ears. Enjoy! You'll never hear music like this again. My only regret -- Eric Burdon was not there. Of all the British Invasion bands, The Animals were pure White Soul. EB was an entertainer as well as being a great singer! Happy I was there to live through all this. Too bad Altamont blew it all up!

and the Equals and Les Variations... Lane and Marriot's guitars don't seem to be plugged in. Wireless guitars weren't really invented until the '70s. Maybe I'm missing something.

Curioso lo que hace el tiempo al comparar los signos de los tiempos y las civilizaciones. Ver a muchachos de mi edad, veinte en 1969, vestir playeras de jugadores de futbol americano, muchachas con bandanas en el pelo simulando el jipismo californiano visto en documentales , moviendo sus cuerpos acordes con la música de un grupo inglés, The Weho, les who, os who, Lo mas seguro que en México yo estaba igualmente entusiasmado con mi vivencia juvenil. Pero en 2024, es igual a un Fausto impresionado por Mefistofeles de lo vivdo y extrañado.
