The soul charge 1 on the order is a may ability, something I avoid doing to prevent deck out as the build currently doesn't need that much soul.

I thought of the very same thing.

My perspective here was that my hand was sufficient to survive the divine skill turn of odium, so rather than just swinging and forcing out a single pg, it would be better to save the divine skill for a turn where I have rearguards on board to present more pressure for where I could put potential triggers on. Unfortunately, that would not be the case with my trigger luck.

It's only during your turn, not opponents turn.

@@Skyhigh731 I'm referring to Vyrgilla's turn at 1:10. He attacked and said 21k when he was actually 25k. Rez player guarded with 15k shield which should only have been 1 to pass.

Hi, Lascaria player here. I think I can give some insights on this. Flautri is an okay option for rush since you can call it to rear after discarding it to ride. You can also call it to rear after discarding for Meliel skill. My biggest issue is the fact that it is a soul blast. Veleno doesn't have ways to soul charge and so SB is very limited. You also need 2 SB to use Grudoli to revive which means you gotta manage your resources. Morpho is also good 20k beater, but, again, for a soul blast. However, a CB to search a guaranteed blitz is pretty good, early on but terrible late game since you most likely searched out or drew into majority of them. Unless we find a way to soul charge, I suggest running one or the other only. Personally I run an all Veleno deck since it deck thins more.

Great points by Jonathan, I do feel like soul is such a precious resource and we are already running a large amount of "boosters" that all provide more than 8k base that Flautri does. If we didnt get Lephonohyla in the same set, I could consider it but back row spaces are pretty full already. In regards to Morpho, similar issues wherein soul is a more expensive resource than CB in the deck, so running the g1 that returns blitz orders from drop to hand is a better way to maintain a critical mass of blitz orders in my opinion. Additionally, it not being a Veleno name means that it misses out on the +5k from vanguard, so despite it being a 20k beater, its not that much better than a lot of the other Veleno cards in the deck for raw power. Veleno name counts also being important for VG skill also hurts it :( so unfortunately doesnt make the cut in my lists. You can find my lists in the pinned comment!

So power markers I bought in Japan, for the 100m cards they were box toppers from previous sets and the crit markers are from the stride deck sets for Jet/Messiah.

So another deck with defensive mechanics include Siana. Alternatively you have decks that can be built quite defensively like Luard running either the undercover package or the g2 festival collection order; or Eva with the 10k intercepts and a variety of blitz orders it could be running.

Eva, luard, siana. Or you can try magnolia g4 or nightrose with sweet shop engine for loop PG every turn 😂

Yep, so watching Japanese nationals, you are allowed to stack them, either over multiple turns or using the VG skill and divine skill on the same turn. But only one can be used on each attack.

So this might've been me overthinking a little bit but it came down to the fact divine skill was active and top card of the deck was stacked. So swinging before VG would have made the VG swing easier to guard, and the hope was to see a crit trigger from VG swing in turn which forces the Rezael player to guard the VG swing to account for that risk rather than just taking the hit and activating divine skill. Once I saw the crit and put it on a rear guard, that also became a must answerable attack. In doing so the logic is that the next draw for Rezael is a bad draw since it's a trigger, additionally CB denying them from using Rezael on attack skill. Notably this didn't matter too much since they had persona ride power and the counter charger.
