    Roborock S6 MaxV. Docks, says charging but never does. Now the battery is obviously totally dead and won't turn on. Changed battery but still the same. Never had Error 13 though

    Hello, tks for your great work. I replaced the fuse but after I done the robot start to charge for some minutes then it can't do anymore. I had to wait some minutes and then it can again. So I was suspecting that it was due to broken fuse. I then removed the fuse and shortened using wires. But this time the robot can't charge at all. The strange thing that I note is that the positive and negative poles of the red and black wire coming from near the fuse seems shortened but I think it is quite strange. Could you help me?

    Hi @bastelbank5855 after i change the PTC fuse, i have another problem that may or may not be related to this and I would like to ask your expertise. My roborock is not charging and the dock always have white light. The dock is 4.1V when not attached to the robot (so it's fine). However when connected to the robot, it starts to drop slowly approaching 0V so I'm sure it's not a contact problem. So it didn't jump to 19V. The battery seems fine as it's in 12.5V. Do you have any idea what went wrong and what could i possibly do?

    I changed the fuse and it didn't solve it, but used this video twice, once for the fuse and the second time for the motherboard. You're a legend!

What is "QF2", right from the Condensator of the vakuum-motor. Need to buy this new because its burned down on my board.

    Instant like when you mentioned MacGyver :D Mine's got the same error, hope it's just the cap in the docking station as I just had the robot disassembled the other day to root it and install Valetudo.

    Thank you so much for the guide! I accidentally damaged the component next to the fuse when I tried to clean up the contact point, totally avoidable mistake. Fortunately I bought a second hand motherboard with a damaged fuse for $3 and redid the process. This time it worked like a charm!

    (Mystery) Hello just to say that I followed the firt steps to check and replace the Capacitor in the Dock ( 68uF, 420V). I dismantled it then I discharged it, and then I tested. The test was negative. The capacitor was working well!!! So I installed it back. I took the advantage of the dock been open to clean it a bit. Guess what! My robot is working well again!!! What mystery! May be discharging the capacitor has something to do with this…. May be it gets loaded … and there is an memory effect that makes it not working well at some point and it needs to be discharged… So may be it is not well sized and a different size need to be installed instead… even if working well. Will wait, if the issue appears again, I will replace it… may be with the same on as in the video.

    Thank you. Excellent 😊. Most helpful part was the removal of every screw. I replaced with smd 1.85A 2920 fuse. Remove with two soldering irons, one on each side at 400 degrees C, if you don't have hot tweezers, which I did not have.

    replaced it with a copy of the original component instead and also worked fine, the resistance readings were all quite random so not really sure it is the proper way to measure them.

    Thank you so much for this video! I fixed my robot this way and it's been working great (I cheated a bit as just soldered the new fuse over the old one). After working well, today the robot was completely dead. It had parked by itself in the charger yesterday. But today no life. Cannot even do a factory reset. Could it have something to do with the fuse (my bad soldering?) again? Or where should I start looking for faults? Charger shows 4.2 volts.

    Why not just solder the new fuse to the connections of the old fuse? cowboy move for sure, but electrically it would work as they would be in parallel.

    • @philipmois
      @philipmois Рік тому

      Battery is also at zero but that’s probably due to it not being able to charge
