that "bone color" is amazing!
I really like it for skulls and other off white stuff
How tight is the screw supposed to be once loosened ?
@@danielshaw007 just snug, it has an oval shaped metal washer under it.
witch pva do you use?
@highlander5521 this was clear PLA
@@TwoBee3D thx, I thought that was pva. Would also be the best PVA I've ever seen^^
Thanks I have a model that's been giving me fits because it's i two parts but my printer is big enough to do it as one. I would have already printed it but i need more filament🤣
Stl. File?

What pla is that on the A1? Would I regret a A1 to a P1s?
@@teacherspets3604 that’s Elegoo PLA Pro, I don’t like it, I never get good release from the supports

Do you have any tips on installing the Demon Macro's on the SV08? My first attempt was not the most successful.
@@mikethursfield4844 yes, the creator just updated the macros to be easier to install. Go to the Sovol Facebook page and contact Roar Ree and he’ll help you
@@TwoBee3D Thanks!!
Nice presentation, but for the love of Pete, the word is pronounced boo-lee-ann.
@@mountainlightwoodcraft thank you
Great video
5th times the charm
That printer is massive
My WiFi cut off with watching this and halfway through it and I just looped the overhead shot and I just laughed. This was cool though.
Print them on silent mode
Cool video! Sorry for the lengthy comment in advance. I was initially leaning toward the Prusa XL, thinking it would finally meet my needs, but after watching your video, I’m now unsure about whether it’s the right choice for my specific requirements. To give you some context, what I primarily need from a 3D printer isn’t necessarily speed, but precision. I often prototype intricate parts that must fit together with tight tolerances, so accuracy is key. I was initially drawn to the Prusa XL for its build volume, which I thought would be ideal, as my typical print heights range from 2” (50mm) to a maximum of 14” (356mm). While I mostly work with single-color prints, I’m also open to multi-color or multi-material options when needed, like the XL promises. However, the most critical aspect for me is achieving a smooth surface finish akin to SLA prints, but without the associated hassle of maintaining an SLA printer. I’ve heard that the Prusa XL’s slicer now includes the Arachne perimeter generator, which promises improved print quality, and that was something I found promising. Based on your extensive experience with various machines, I’d love to hear your thoughts on which printer would best meet these needs. Specifically, I’m looking for precision, ease of use, and the ability to deliver professional quality prototypes, without the maintenance demands of an SLA system. I trust your judgment and would greatly appreciate any suggestions or guidance on what to consider next in my search. Should I keep waiting or should I take the plunge? Thanks again for all the valuable content you create, it’s been a huge help!
@@Toy_and_Prop_Masters thank you for watching and commenting. In this size with multi toolhead, multi material printing capability, there isn’t a better option in this price range. Like any printer this one requires tuning of the software to suit your needs. This printer is capable of high precision and can print with engineering grade materials for printing within high tolerance specifications. When printing high quality parts it’s important to have at least two toolheads or two extruders in one toolhead to handle two types of material. This saves time and material and prevents a lot of the issues that come with a single extruder system using a material changing system like a Bambu printer with an AMS. So your options are the Prusa XL or another high quality machine like an IDEX printer from a company like Rat Rig or a custom tool changer Voron build. Bambu is now rumored to be releasing a large volume dual extruder machine with AMS capabilities. If you’re looking for ease of use and a more complete system out of the box you may wait to see what that printer will look like. It promises to be possibly what you are looking for. That machine will be enclosed, the Prusa XL would require a separate purchase for the enclosure. The Bambu should have an active heated chamber, the XL does not. So those are two advantages the Bambu promises to have over the XL. I view the single toolhead with dual extruder as an added complexity and not an advantage. It’s a tough choice, I would wait to see what Bambu releases if you have time to wait. If you need a printer soon and need that build volume and multi material capability, you can’t go wrong with the XL.
nice! which 3d-model is this?

THATS SMOOTH, did you have ironing on?
@@The_Goofy_Shiba no ironing, this thing always lays down plastic really nice.
Thousands of pounds for this thing, and I'm not even remotely impressed. Maybe if it wasn't like £4K lol
@@Vault_Phil you are correct, it’s a fun toy but not a serious printer for that price.
Bambu lab says you're supposed to loosen and move the toolhead 3 times. It doesn't say it when you get the error message and scan it. First page says loosen and tighten. But if you follow the link down the page you're suppose loosen and move it 3 times and tighten. But if it worked, then it works😁
Nice, thanks!
@@ownskisgarage9950 I’ll be making more of these short videos about Orca and Bambu slicers.
Damn looking good!
Thanks!
Wow
Overhang are insane. Nice job.
This printer is unironically the most wasted potential ever. I would 100% buy this over my X1C if it wasnt $2.7k And the fact it doesnt even have a filament dryer box nor is it enclosed, is ridiculous. And it didnt even come out with input shaping or anything. I wish Bambu lab dropped an XL competitor. A toolchanger would actually make PVA the most widely used filament ever. Dissolvable filaments are a litteral game changer. Too bad it takes like 50 years to print anything beyond 1 color with an AMS
@@honkhonk8009 you definitely don’t want one of these, considering the five tool head version is closer to 4,700$. You can buy 3 X1C’s with AMS units for less.
@@TwoBee3D Yea fr its disgusting how a simple extruder head costs $500. Something you can litterally make for pennies.
would've been awesome if you actually showed how long it took to print which is why I came to watch....

@@geckowingman I have a new video coming out with a larger version that will show the end result ❤️

@@YaGirlKat213 😁 no, well, maybe… I moved it about a month ago
It’s mesmerizing to watch the build. I love the filament color as well. 🎉
Placing text on top of where the Allen goes was a brilliant idea.
Fortunately there’s only one screw in that area, would be very difficult to miss. I can make a new video if it helps you make a decision about this machine.
Thanks for the comparison!
Thank you for commenting, I hope you have a great day!
@TwoBee3D also are there any other 3d printers you would recommend in the sub 300 dollar price range(including prices on sales)?
i also have 3d printer knowledge, and i want a fast printer
@@peterrusnak4467 it is really hard to beat the Bambu A1 that is on sale now for 299$. I have 4 of them and they are very fast and reliable, Bambu also provides excellent customer service. I’ve just ordered the Elegoo Neptune 4 Max and that series of printers is on sale right now with great prices. I’ve heard good and bad things about them but I think it comes down to setup and maintenance. I’ll be making a video about that machine when it arrives.
@@TwoBee3D can the bambu beat the sovol?
Working at an elementary school, I am looking for a machine a child can unpackage and begin to use.
@@geoffreyhowells7290 I would highly suggest the A1 or A1 Mini for that situation. The Mini can be unpacked and be printing reliably in less than 30 minutes for 200$.

@@Dimitris1963 you are correct, I initially installed it correctly then read the manual. The manual instructs you to put it on backwards and I realized that after looking at it. Watch my comparison video Saturday to hear about it and see in the manual where it tells you to put it on backwards.
@@TwoBee3D I know! Have seen many backwards installed Sovol filament holders on videos and photos in the last 3 years.
