How I Built a Home Made Vacuum Cleaner
Hi again everyone! I'm excited to share with you this build of my new vacuum cleaner.
Its a handheld device, with 2 modes. The handle houses the two18650 batteries totaling to 8.4v fully charged.
This video took a while to make, and I experienced a lot of trial and error. I had an original design that I spent nearly a week creating, and it totally failed. Instead I decided to make something i know would work, based on the understanding of how vacuum cleaners work.
Most, if not, all these videos have parts from Dollar Tree. They are cheap and easy to take apart. They also provide a sense of relief when things fail, since you only spend a couple dollars on it.
The glue is Surebonder from Walmart

No resistor? No heatsink?
Hey, thanks for your comment! I didn’t feel the need to add resistor because it is only a 3w LED. There is a built in heat sink, as wood is conductive of heat and does not melt. I’m not planning on using it for extended period of times, so I wouldn’t need any further cooling.

Hey Anthony, great video for sure you’re very detailed with your intricate details. If you want to increase the airflow, simply cut off the nozzle spout in half and you’ll see airflow increase dramatically. because the tub is so long that’s why you have such a restricted airflow cutting the tube in half will increase airflow dramatically.
Hey, thanks for your comment! Yes I was going to cut the nozzle in half, but I wanted to keep it as close to the original form as possible. You are totally right, the nozzle was way too thin and long restricting most of the air!
