I Don't Know How to Love Him - Black Sails
Beautiful song ❤ The Lord of the Rings
Name of this golden tree?
@@Garp1990 not given in the show, but it's probably a mallorn. In the show they just call it the Great Tree in Lindon. In Unfinished Tales it is described how Gil-galad got mallorn seeds as a gift from Numenor, but the tree wouldn't grow in Lindon, so he gave it to Galadriel to plant in Lotlorien, where it did grow.
I think this scene kinda fixed this up and down show to the canon lore of “ Lord of the Rings” it’s so rough but this song and scene fixed it loved it
Muito solene a canção
Beautiful music and great song rendered in the serial by the elven king Gil-Galahad.
There was a lot of nonsense in this series, but this scene was so true to Tolkien.👍
Tears Of Melkor ......
Well, this series is good 😢and better than how to train your dragon live action 😅
@@thanthar-j6s yes, Rings of Power is great! I haven't seen the Dragon movie, but I'm usually disappointed with animated movies turned into live action.
What episode is this song in?
@@sergeypopov3605 season 2 episode 1
I have mixed feelings about this show, but I respect Benjamin Walker and this song.
:/ love the song but so many things are wrong in this show. Lindon is not a capital, its the name of the area. The capital was Mithlond.
LOVE !
This is one of the best scenes of all the Tolkien adaptations I have seen.
Chills, chills, chills.
Şarkı sözlerini bilen yazabilir mi lütfen?
not a horrible song but the shiw itself….no comment bro tbh
Awesome! Love Hair! and love the slo-mo of Gil-Galad in battle!
@@bethwebber1170 thanks! I love that musical, too :)
Wth is up with the highrise sideburns tho
He must get them in S3!
The video we deserved, many thanks

Glad you enjoyed it 😁
I love this scene so much. I think I will rewatch this series this weekend again.
🙌 I understand
This is most beautiful song. I love it ❤❤❤❤❤
❤❤❤
It's a beautiful piece, but there are only a few people on stage who look like elves
Incredible

It is an edit from several episodes.

Thank goodness I am finding eng subtitles
I liked the Valinor song from season 1 as well. Elvish singing is fantastic.
only part of the show that sounded like tolkien could've written it.
this scene made forgive season1
He has a beautiful voice
Ok. This is finally giving me vibes from the Peter Jackson series… this scene and song alone…. 👏 👏👏👏
This song is the most beautiful thing I've heard in a long time. Thanks to Benjamin Walker for his magical voice and to Bear McCreary for his beautiful music. ❤️❤️❤️
@@Amara15og agreed, thanks Bear and Ben!
It sounds like finnish - so beautiful! ❤
@@rokkilintu1967 I think Quenya is partly based on Finnish, indeed
Yes Tolkien loved Finnish and was the base Quenya
Wow... that song touched me deep in my hearth❤
@@kevinschroder8673 me too! I really had a feeling that an elf was singing it.
Magical
Thank you!
I love that they cast a trained singer for the role of elven king. Fantastic edit
@@PurtyPurple I love that, too! Songs are such an important part of Tolkien's legendarium.

Been waiting for the full translation of this song!
The first two lines are improvised. I based the translation of those lines on Galadriel's song in "Farewell to Lorien", because the entire song in the series is in fact based on it. It may not be correct. For instance, the bit about the Elven tears should go, "sí lantar elda nie" (now fall the elven tears), but I have seen it transcribed as "si lantarel danier", which has a different meaning, and Ben Walker definitely pronounces the "r" sound there. Still, I am pleased with this translation, and I hope it makes sense ❤
