TheQuietBeast first pair 2.0.0 then updated to 4.1.1 then downgraded to 2.0.0 again. Present in all firmware. New ones 2.0.0 out of the box still present

@@MrSatanicGoat Interesting. Did you notice worse ANC on 4.1.1? Seems some issues are only on some units.

Thanks. Yes, the sounds gets decent with my compact. It is a Canon G7X Mk II. It seems like it uses two modes, sort of "no limit" and "lower sensitivity". Then it switches between these two depending on volume pressure, it makes it sounds weird when it jumps in volume but on the positive side, high volume sounds gets recorded :) way way better than my cellphone LG G4 that I have used sometimes also.

TheQuietBeast ok thanks! Well, for my clips I use an older compact, the Tz7, sound is usually awesome, picture is decent. I upped a bunch of clips from the Danish 90 party, back in May. The most popular video, barbie girl, lacks in sound though, too loud apparently

Hello! Sorry to hear. Seems they have some really crappy hubs. I have rebuilt the wheels with new quality top brand hubs and it's a big difference. The axle is easy to remove, not before when the axle stuck and was very difficult to remove even if I greased it. Shame they have these XLC hubs when the other components are really ok.

Whats your pinion? How much battery left? I use a 12T there, and about 2800 rpm mostly. That gives a good throttle % from the ESC. And still 3-4 minutes of flying easy 3D.

12T pinion. After my first test hover at 70% throttle, I had about 3.75per cell left after 3:40 of flight time. It sounded way faster than 70% (2200ish RPM). I think the Gaui ESC I was using to test it on had gov enabled and the throttle percentages didn't matter (like castle gov). I will need to do further testing when my new HW ESC get's here.

sounds strange. But you could always get a cheap tachometer to measure RPM so you know, or this app for the telephone works quite well also.

I have the airplane tachometer, it's so dangerous having a high RPM heli with something dangling above it, haha. I once had the wind tip over the heli whilst doing this (as FBLs dont really like being spun up grounded). And I can't imagine phone tachometer apps work anywhere near. I'll be getting the HW soon, anyways. It has an RPM wire that I plan on using spirit gov with.

What is the resting voltage of your battery when you are done? Is your pinion pressed too hard up against the spur gear? I would honestly sell the scorpion and get an xnova. I just bought a used x3 with a scorpion motor for 3 cell and the thing was pretty beat. Underpowered for the application big time. I would run at least 4s. Sell the scorpion and get an Xnova or something. I'm running 1580 Xnova 6s 1500mah nanotech batteries in my now 380 X3.

Well. The worst you say, must be a compliment :) that is because this video is about neither dosing/distribution/tamping. The idea grew when I read many had problems with coffe grinding all over the place and then try to make something simple to solve it. This plastic thing I glued on has worked very well even today. Now I actually do like you write in step 1) hold the portafilter in my hand and move around to get even distribution. And all the coffe in the filter with almost no waste at all. Regarding the other aspects, as I wrote this video is not about that process at all. Like the caption and text says. "Teh Lunatic" linked to such videos that are very helpful about describing how to a perfect shot of coffe. But I appreciate your effort of explaining that part anyway. Have recently changed coffe beans and needs to fine-tune the grinding a little now, suddenly everything is changed :)

Nice! That would be great for an upgrade of the original motor. I used a cut prop adapter as pinion stop on the motor shaft. Take care and fly well!

Thanks. I painted them myself :) Plasti-Kote primer & ultra gloss white. Sand a little to get it grip good and then spray. Result is really good actually, looks like factory-made. More visibility with white also. Highly recommended! :)
