Just who is the Immaculate Conception?
Dear friends, today, we're going to clear up some common confusion about a very important doctrine in Catholicism: the Immaculate Conception. You might be wondering, “Just who is the Immaculate Conception?”
First off, let's address a common misconception. The Immaculate Conception refers not to Jesus, but to Mary, His mother. It means that from the very first moment of her conception, Mary was preserved free from original sin. This special grace was given by God in view of the merits of Jesus Christ.
The dogma of the Immaculate Conception was officially defined by Pope Pius IX in 1854. In his papal bull Ineffabilis Deus, he declared that Mary was “in the first instance of her conception, by a singular grace and privilege granted by Almighty God, in view of the merits of Jesus Christ, the Savior of the human race, preserved exempt from all stain of original sin.”
You might wonder how this belief is supported by Scripture. One key reference is found in the Gospel of Luke. When the angel Gabriel greets Mary, he calls her “full of grace” (Luke 1:28). This phrase is interpreted by the Church to mean that Mary was filled with divine grace from the very beginning, thus preserved from original sin.
But why was it necessary for Mary to be immaculately conceived? This doctrine underscores her unique role in salvation history. As the Mother of Jesus, she needed to be a pure vessel, free from sin, to bear the Son of God. Her immaculate state highlights her total openness to God's will and her role as a model of holiness for all Christians.
Mary is often connected to the Ark of the Covenant in Catholic theology. The Ark was the most sacred item in the Old Testament, housing the Ten Commandments, Aaron's rod, and manna, and representing God's presence among His people. Made of the finest materials and covered in pure gold, the Ark symbolized purity and holiness.
Mary, as the New Ark, carried Jesus, the Son of God, within her womb. Just as the Ark housed the word of God in stone tablets, Mary carried the Word of God made flesh. The connection emphasizes her role as the pure vessel chosen by God to bear His Son.
The Feast of the Immaculate Conception is celebrated on December 8th each year. It is a holy day of obligation in some countries. This feast reminds us of God's immense grace and the special place Mary holds in our faith.
So, just who is the Immaculate Conception? It is Mary, conceived without original sin, chosen by God to be the Mother of our Savior. This doctrine is a beautiful testament to God's grace and Mary's pivotal role in our salvation.
As we reflect on this profound mystery, let us turn to our Blessed Mother for her intercession:
O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. Amen.

Revelation 20:14 Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. Purgatory is not a place where people wait to go to heaven, but rather a place where they wait upon judgement.

I love confession. God has been so good to His children. Missing Mass always leads to other sins.
Get a copy of "Two Babylons" by Alexander Hislop, a minister from Scotland, who did extensive research into the catholic religion. Read about just where the catholic religion celebrations came from. Did you know that December 25 was the birthday of the pagan god Tammuz....???? (according to Hislop) The book is FULL of foot notes so you can see where he got his information..
Wow, informative, enlightening, reverent, and succinct!
Beautiful
How does the Holy Spirit's purifying fire in this life, differs from the purification process in purgatory?
I had heard that women covered their head so men didn't get turned on. I also heard it was so ANGELS didn't get turned on. I guess so, because in Cor 11:10 it says " It is for this reason that a woman ought to have authority over her own[c] head, because of the angels. " The Nephilim were supposed to have been produced this way.
Well. The president of the United States is Biden lol.

Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the masses said throughout the world today, for all the holy souls in purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal church, those in my own home and within my family. Amen.
How does the purification process in purgatory differ from life on earth?
If you don’t know it, then they are not mortal. You have to know that a sin is mortal before committing it before it becomes mortal for you. There are 3 conditions that must be present for a sin to be mortal. Study the catechism of the Catholic Church before posting.
I love you my Lord GOD Aman 💕💕
What the blazes is an "Orans" posture? Why do you think this is important? Get real and quit nitpicking.
Amen! GOD BLESS YOU! ❤❤❤
God said to keep your head covered. That is why!
AMEN 🙏🏽🙏
Eternal rest grant unto them o lord , may the poorsouls rest in peace amen!
🙏🙏🏽 AMEN
This video is at the same time inducing to sin: also recive Holy Communion on hands Is sin and great sacrilegy.
I wore a black veil, a little shiny once or twice but it seemed like I was getting more attention so I stopped. What bothers me is that some women with veils wear tight pants so that defeats the purpose of modesty in my opinion. I rather see a woman with a dress than with a veil & tight pants at church anyday!
God bless the one who made this video❤ this is going to help me activate the 7 gifts to help me throughout my life. I recieved it from god now its time to do my part🎉 thank you once again🤝
The 'Busy Catholic' needs to get busy and learn the Faith. The Catechism differentiates between "vincible" and "invincible" ignorance. Catholics have a duty to learn moral law just as citizens need to learn the civil law. Invincible ignorance excuses from mortal sin (and possibly venial sin) IF there wasn't a wilful neglect to learn the right thing to do. Just as in civil law, you can't tell a cop you shouldn't get a ticket for driving 90 mph in a 60 mph zone. You have a duty to look at the posted speed limit. Just like the Jewish elders who crucified Christ. Our Lord tells them they would have had no guilt had he not done so many miracles in their presence. However, they deliberately ignored those miracles out of jealousy - Thomas Aquinas points out.
you have to know it is wrong and do it anyway. Mortal sin is not committed by accident
I hear a fire alarm, Oh my Jesus, save us from the fires of hell!
Amen
Amen po
