Simple answer...yes. I used to visit our office in Pescara a couple of times a year. Never a chore. Get a car and explore. One day we drove for miles and ended up cooking arosticini on open BBQs on the plateau near Castel del Monte. Simple food, great company and amazing location.

With you tube videos telling wealthy land speculators and real estate tycoons about Abruzzo it won't stay green for much longer.

I was lucky enough to spend a semester in L'Aquila during my studies. Abruzzo is truly one of the most beautiful regions in Italy.
