Learning OIR in my near stock suspension 2008 Mini Cooper S with PSI Motorsports. Tuned to almost 240 HP though, so front traction is an issue (even with a Quaiffe LSD). Should have started with NEW RE71RS tires instead of 5 yr old 7 day tires (except for the left front - almost new). Very technical track that takes time to safely "figure out" so every session was faster. For sure, had sub 3 min lap waiting if I'd had good tires by Sunday PM.

My near stock GT4 (track alignment, suspension settings) with 10 day old GY SC3 tires (220 TW). Very hot day - my laps early at about 90 deg, Andy Pilgrim laps at 3 PM at about 90 also. I use Andy's line to my ability but he shows me where "confidence corners" really count! Two high speed corners are almost all the lost time!

Barber Motorsports Park Just Track It "Racing for ALS" Event in my Porsche 981 GT4. Track pads & suspension settings. No mods, 7 track days on Eagle Supercar 3 tires (many cycles, but tread). Brake pads slightly above 50%. Very hot - best laps were sunny and above 100 deg ambient temps on track (not ideal) but old tires seemed to grip the red hot pavement pretty well.

Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix (PVGP) at Pitt Race International. Mitch driving Ol Bob the Datsun 510 Bob Sharp replica in Race 1. Saturday 7/27/2024. ACTION PACKED! 18 or so heat cycles on Toyo RRs, beautiful 70ish degree, dry, sunny weather. 510 well sorted and running great.

Mitch Wright driving a 1970 Datsun 510 at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix (PVGP) at Pitt Race. Perfect 80 degree, sunny race day. Feature Race/Race 2 on Sunday 7/28/2024. Highly heat cycled (~20 cycles) Toyo RR tires and ol Bob the 510 was dialed in with slightly softened damping.

C7 Corvette Grand Sport purchased new by John Heinricy (HeinRocket). New tuned engine with BTR cam, long tube headers with street/track tune. New Ferrodo track/street pads and old BFG Rival 1.5 S tires (3 yrs old, lots of cycles, but some tread). NCM Motorsports Park in the 80s and dry except for 1st session.

Datsun 510 on a perfect sunny FL day around 70 degrees. My 5th race *ever*. Unfortunately, there was contact - maybe not my fault per racing rules, but still I screwed up - very, very sorry for the contact at T7.

Perfect 70 deg sunny FL wx, new tires with only a scrub session. Window net came loose at end; lost opportunity for a 2:40.

2017 Corvette Grand Sport (7 spd manual) at Barber Motorsports Park with Just Track It. Best time of 1:40s due to old, dry 220 TW tires and very cold temps (mid 40s max). This was John Heinricy's (HeinRocket) car originally. The original (tuned) LT1 failed about 4000 miles after I bought it. MCR tuning built a Texas Speed block for me into a solid, I hope, runner that's detuned to about 500 HP at the wheels. I "baby" the engine - keep oil temp below 260 ish and track it less.
