Does anyone one know how to shorten a sten gun magazine from 32 to 20 round magazine thank-you
@@VincentMellor-l8d There are 20 round Sten magazines out there but they are the same length as 32 round magazines.
Great Video. Happy Birthday from another old fart.😊
Milspec forged is the same, $200 or $2000, why make somebody's Benz payment.😂
I wish they made a fake wire stock for the mac10 i love that look with the stock in it looks like a fat scorpion to me great video my friend
I hate that I did not receive a magazine with my purchase that I made a few days ago. I purchased a 20 inch right side charging complete AR 15 chambered in 556. This will be my first Bearcreek Arsenal rifle.
@@stevemendez3535 I never got a magazine included with an upper. I only got a magazine when I got a complete Rifle kit that included everything but sights and a lower receiver.
They should have included a torx wrench for the bolt handle with the upper.
I did buy a complete rifle and I paid $430 for it
@@stevemendez3535 They should have included a magazine with a complete rife. That is ridiculous. Although that is a great price.
So... Don't mod those parts on a open bolt to make a burner.....??
I like the charging top cocker on the vmac9 better than the older flat ones the flat ones look cheesy
You must be loaded to get all those goodies thank you for sharing i love macs period no matter the caliber my favorite is the big daddy mac10 45 thats my baby i dont care that its closed bolt i just love the guns
@@joshuahawkins2743 No not loaded. I bought my Macs back in 1989-1992 when they were cheap. The two full auto M11/9’s cost me $350 each, my M10/45 full autos cost me $255 to $500 each. Just good timing. I am an old fart now and my Son will inherit them.
Woot congrats!!! Keep coming out with the Mac vids
Haters gonna hate
There is a reason BCA has a "reputation", I don't care what anyone chooses to spend their money on. My BCA story, I bought one in .223 wylde with an 18 inch stainless barrel. out of the box the hand guard was canted, upon closer inspection all the hand guard screws were loose (maybe hand tight) the barrel nut was the same way (barely hand tight). That's unacceptable in my mind, they did return the items with minimal hassle.
@@bilbobaggins8876 They have been raided by the immigration department in the past. I also have a 223 wylde upper from them. I didn’t have trouble with that one either. I know they have quality problems.
Its legal to own an open bolt semi pistol as long as it was made before 1986 I'm pretty sure. The bumpstock ruling was found to be un constitutional and the rule was vacated. I have owned several TEC 9s but that was many years ago. Fun guns for sure.
@@richardturk7162 No, ATF banned the open bolt semi’s in 1982 and has not approved any since. The ones made till 1982 are ok as long as they have not been converted. You have the 1986 Machinegun ban mixed up. TEC nines are closed bolt semi’s. The cut off date for open bolt semi auto pistols is June 21 1982, any made on or after this date are classified as Machineguns.
It shouldn't be hated they make a great rifle for cheap. And for home protection if a intruder broke in, you think he cares whether it's a 200 dollar or a 2000 dollar upper hahahaha
@@JeremyMcCreary-ib7wo Some people love brand names.
The original Zytel mags I have had excess mold flashings I had to remove to fit properly. One was just a bit high where the feed lips were so I had to file them down to get proper fitment. They work fine and feed really well.
@@richardturk7162 The good thing about the Zytels is that they are soft so if you don’t file them down they usually wear in pretty quick. The problem is the feed lips tend to open up over time and start jamming.
So I got a question for you. I just got a mac 11 on trade and with the trade I got a whole upper along with the gun. Its a long barreled upper, 16 inches with a handguard that extends nearly the entire length of the barrel except maybe an inch and a half to two inches. I haven't seen another one. I've tried looking. I've seen some with 16 inched barrels but shorter handguards on them. It is a legit Cobray part because its stamped Cobray on the base of the handguard. Any insight you may have would be helpful thanks.
@@USA_djhiggi77 I have a similar upper. Cobray made a lot of these. They usually came with a stock kit to turn an M11/9 semi auto pistol into a carbine.
People hate low end rifles because a casual shooter can go out, spend $400-$500 on a rifles and be happy shooting a few times a year.
Thank you sir !! I have the same 2 Mac’s as you except my 9mm is also semi I have them in the safe and haven’t seen them for a while but now I have to go do the inspection you just taught me on my open bolt to make sure there’s no funny business going on
First off…ignore the haters. Secondly, ignore the haters. Everyone in the firearms community should just be happy that more and more people are taking up arms- regardless of what make/model firearm they choose.
BCA: makes pretty workable uppers at a price everyone can afford the gun community: so you have chosen death
You mean not everyone needs a M-16 rated bolt with a barrel rated to 10,000 rounds! Lol
Mac Daddy, thank you for your video. I recently purchased my first machine guns and did not know how to get mags for the 45 acp. Your video was what I needed and I appreciate you. Thanks BJ
@@parissaghatrehee9573 Glad to help. If you have an M10/45 see my video on installing the dual magazine catch.
I recommend the Lage Max10/45 upper for the M10/45. See my videos on that too if you want. You can also get a upper got the M10/45 that shoots 9MM with the 72 round Suomi drum magazines. This is why I like the M10/45. You can get uppers to slow fire 45ACP or 9MM as well as a 556 upper. A company called Practical Solutions is beta testing a 22lr upper for the M10/45 as well.
I have 5 BCA rifles and they all run great 2- 223 Wylde, 1- 22-250, 1- 350 Legend, 1- 308, 1 - 7.62x39

Sir u veteran
🔥🔥🔥
Bought Bca wylde 18 heavy upper. Put it on Anderson lower I built. Upper tight. Fit like a glove. No issues with 300 rounds of various ammo. Hits what you aim at. Great price, great shooter.
I just got one, it doesn’t let me cock it all the way back, it only lets me slide it back like an inch and then gets stuck. Any idea of what it could be? Thank you for your time! Awesome video 🙌🙌
@@ohlaloh1295 Make sure the safety is set to fire. You can’t cock the bolt with the safety set to safe.
Once the bolt is locked open (cocked) you can set the safety to safe. This locks the sear and keeps bolt from being released.
@@535tony thanks man, so by watching one of your other videos, you explained the difference between the 380 pistol and m-11/9mm and you brought up that there was also a semi auto m-11/9mm. Well that’s the one I have, the semi auto
I finally got it to cock all the way now 🙌 my buddy said something was wrong with it, nobody could get it to cock all the way! (I just took the upper off, cocked back the hammer on the lower, and placed the upper back on while the hammer was cocked. And boom it worked) I’m not a gun expert by any means, just getting into guns! Thank you very much for your expertise
The semi auto version of the M11/9 is totally different from the Machinegun version I own.
Bca is just as good as the rest of the budget guns and there more affordable . I upgrade mine with a toolcraft shot peened bolt for about 40 bucks on sale and they run like hot water!
Budget AR's are good enough for the average Joe.
This video made me subscribe. Hope all is well.
My first AR was a BCA. If it wasn't for the low price I would have skipped it and stayed with the lever action rifles I am used to. BCA made it possible for me to step into the AR world to see if I enjoyed it. Once in, the more I learned and the more I chose more upgrades. BCA is a great gateway to a lot of fun shooting. New sub,
Enjoyed your rant and the history lesson. I recently found a Jennings .22 in chrome w/pearl handles. Cool to have, but it stays in the bookcase.
@@rwood9620 I always wanted an original Ravin 25 in nickel with the fake mother of Pearl grips.
I smile and laugh at everyone! I learned how to shoot from 13 weeks of enlistment at Parris Island. We were issued the M16A2. I qualified expert. Now consider we had to qualify with open sights, up to 600 yds! When I see all these UA-cam videos with AR platform spending not just hundreds, but even thousands of dollars. I smile at these guys!
Drive-by shooting survival went up in LA when gang members started using Tec-9s.
Good looking pistol! The Blackhawk is, IMO, Bill Rugers greatest contribution to the gun world!
Such a shame those fudds were being ugly. Love my BCA, not a single problem. I have very high end rifles and my BCA is just fine. I have a Radical AR as well and its been perfect too.

On the M11-9 what keeps the disconnecter on the seer?? Bc mine just keeps coming off the seer on the first shot when I shoot it in full auto
@@SKRIM311 The trigger spring keeps the disconnector on the sear. The trip lever pushes the disconnector off the sear in semi auto mode. Sometimes the trigger spring breaks or the trip lever binds causing semi auto fire in full auto mode.

Excellent video, love these old German guns! The Mauser Kar98az is my most favorite Mauser variant, and there's a clear family bias in my case. I happen to have 1914 Erfurt Kar98az myself, which is a family heirloom gun. My father inherited it from my great-grandfather, who was apparently a WWI vet and supposedly captured the rifle out of a captured German trench (although we were never able to confirm that story). As you mentioned, these old military surplus rifles were available in larger quantities back in the day and weren't the coveted collector's items that they are today. Unfortunately, at some point in my Kar98az's history, it was sporterized by one of dad's relatives. A few years ago during COVID, I managed to track down some original parts and ordered a reproduction stock, and managed to restore the rifle to its original military configuration. Like you said about your Luger, my Kar98az may not be all matching, but that's a compromise you make when you want to give the gun its original look. I'm very satisfied with how my project turned out and my Kar98az is my most favorite rifle in my collection, and I don't ever plan to sell it. I appreciate your stories as well! I'd love to get a Luger one of these days.
@@valstutz2628 Great story! Glad you were able to restore yours. It is a great shooter and one of my favorites as well.
