I am still searching for the ahaa moment🙃 Just joking !! The lecture series is really enlightening. Thank you for sharing this valuable series.
Really Good Explanation 👍
Usually I run away from theory but I am just hooked to this lecture series 🎉 please upload more content😊
Excellent.
Kudos to your efforts and the effortless presentation, all at once 👍👍👍👍👍
You are a great teacher, not just your command on the subject is amazing, the guiding touches here and there makes the lectures highly engaging😊
Awesome lecture! Thank you so much for your efforts It helped me alot❤️
You have succeeded in giving that "aahaa" Moment to us. Amazing👍
@9:40 ish Richards could have argued for the value of the irrational. Thereby defining limits of rational processes.
This lecture is incredibly illuminating! And timeless.
Great lecture! I enjoy it so much! One thing Professsor Marlkos may check on is the whereabout of the two poets when they were collaborating on Lyrical Ballads. I remember Coleridge lived in Nether Stowey whereas Wordsworth in Alfoxden --- five miles between the two places.
Thanks for your great lecture. It'd be wonderful if you could give a lecture on Samuel Johnson after Pope and Dryden.
A superb introduction of two great critics' idea of literary criticism. I admire the passion and erudition in your clear delivery! Many thanks~
Thanks so much! Could you please provide subtitles? It would be a massive help.
Great teacher making very obscure views very accessible.
Louis Markos is the best. Listening to these lectures for over ten years...

I had deleted these lectures by mistake. Am relieved to find them available here🙂
I have never seen such an amazing method of teaching Literary theory. He is so concrete and plan in his expressions.
I remember these lectures. I had it on audiobook when I was 18ish.
Great 👍

Thank you so much for this lecture! It is very helpful.
really helpful!
Great to see you on youtube! A Great initiative!
excellent lecture
For the record, Markos makes lots of mistakes in this lecture. From what I have read of Frye he is expressively not Kantian; he was influenced by Blake, who most certainly was not a Kantian. It's an easy confusion because both Blake and Kant were influenced by Swedenborg and Hebraic thought more broadly, but the point is that Frye is recovering the Hebrew tradition -- it's not merely decadent Kantianism, as suggested.
