Pescadore Metal Detecting
Приєднався 9 бер 2014
My channel is about metal detecting in Texas. I have been metal detecting for 30 + years and have used many different metal detectors. I enjoy hunting old parks, playgrounds, recreational areas and private property. I hope to provide some information that might be helpful to people new at metal detecting or those using metal detectors similar to mine. I currently use a Quest Pro.

Park Hunt with new Quest Pro
Переглядів 6706 років тому
This is my first video using the Quest Pro and I took it to a location that I knew I could find plenty of targets to test it on. Some of the camera angles are not great so I apologize for that. I found a lot of clad coins that I did not put on this video to shorten it a little bit. Hope you enjoy. The Quest Pro is a lightweight multi frequency machine that is waterproof to 16 feet. It has a lot...

what about gold
I have that coin

How much was the quarter worth I have one .
I also have that a 1942 liberty
That M6 is a great detector if you can still find one. I buried a quarter a foot deep, and with that large concentric stock coil, I still got a signal on it with the M6. Hated that Whites went out of business back in June of 2020. First it was Tesoro and now Whites. I wonder who will be next. I think many are now buying the Minelab Equinoxes, the Nokta Simplexes, and the XP Deus. Don't know if that had anything to do with Whites and Tesoro going out of business, but it didn't help.
Hi there fellow treasure hunter🤙.Love your vlogs. Exstreamely entertaining and educational. 😍 I just Subbed your channel. Showing my fellow hunters some much deserved love all the way from South Africa 🇿🇦. Keep them comming pretty please 👌

Great video! Fun hunt! Really enjoyed it! Keep it up! GL&HH! ~Andrew
This man knows what he's talking about! Spot on sir! I have this machine and anything with more than a 3-4 digit VDI variance outside of the 80-86 range is junk for a quarter. Pretty much the same for other coins. If there is an actual coin, this baby locks on hard. 10-12" solid depth and up to 14" after a rain. It's the 'return swing' that will tell you everything. The left and right swing will be almost identical if its a worthy target. It took me less than a day to figure it out. I also like the high-low tone or broken tone with a left right swing which shows a large variance in the VDI readout. Say 86 then 53, most likely a power line, sewer drain or man made metal structure under the dirt. Although if the target is deeper, a wild variance in VDI could be worth a dig. I usually push the sensitivity setting to full throttle and push the coil a bit harder through the grass. My guesses before I dig are 95% accurate with this unit based on the tones and readout. Once in a while I'll ignore logic and dig a glitchy signal anyway and 9 1/2 times out of 10 it's garbage. Treasure Pro is a contender for sure! Thanks for some very valuable insight about this feature-packed detector. Absolutely love the automatic ground grab. Just turn it on and swing. Paired with my Nokta pinpointer, the ground shakes with fear of giving up her secrets! Best wishes....
I use a handkerchief on the side of the hole.
Hi, can you tell me what kind of headphones are in use? Tom :-)
i have an MX7, is almost the same. Thanks for this video ;)
Not many videos on this machine. Do you like it? how far down will it detect? I mostly coin jewelry hunt.
What were your settings? Cant seem to figure mine
Just ordered mine a couple of days ago. Any good settings for parks?
This has really been a great help.
As for weather it's public or not depends on the area, some people were forced to put side walks on their land, some homes were built with the public sidewalk in mind, some private became public when the government decided they wanted the sidewalks.
Enjoyed the vid. Gonna have to do some of that river detecting some time. ATB GL and HH
Are curb strips public property ?
Curb strips are private property. Sidewalks are only easements for pedestrian passage but it's private property from the house or building to the street.
Curb strips are city property or easements
Hey, I like your videos. My wife bought me a treasure pro last year. I love this machine. I have found many nice treasures in my local fresh water river. I recently had to send it back to Whites because the coil got cracked around the seam. They had it back in less then 2 weeks. Great service. Honored their warranty no questions asked. When i got my coil back i used a rubberized pray to coat the coil. works great. I've found 16 different types of bells in the river this year.. and a lot of other goodies from the 1800's. i subscribed, ill catch up on your videos soon. Take care and happy hunting.
Dennis Allen The Treasure Pro is a nice little machine. I am using a Quest Pro now because it is waterproof to 16 feet and deeper.
Dennis Allen Whites take care of their customers and I have had good luck with them.
That's great depth for a freshly buried coin.
Whats the difference between the 3khz (15") and the 18.5khz (15") ?
davidamosphotography. The 3 kHz. Coil is reportedly better on higher conductive targets. The 18Khz is better on lower conductive targets and still does well on higher conductive targets. As far as depth goes, I have not done a comparison on the two.
Awesome -- Thank you!
I love the music! Love the video! Keep up the great work!
Finding Fun. Thank you. The music is available on all digital platforms. It is from my son's EP, Christian Sparks and the Beatnik Bandits, that was recently released.
What's so hilarious, the one I got in change the other day at a shell gas station, it looks the exact same with that dirt blemish lol!
Nice tutorial for differentiating nicks, quarts and zincs
Wow 10 inch! That's crazy! Great informative video!
Thank you !! I am really liking the Quest Pro and learning more about it each time I go out. I just wanted to give folks an idea of it's capabilities even with the small coil. The recovery speed and separation with the small coil makes the combo deadly in trashy parks and that's were I hunt most of the time.
First
Recently bought a secondhand 6T for as little as 135 euros=166usd in pristine condition and absolutely love the machine!. Almost always 100% accurate on VDI, material and depth. Don't understand why there are so few videos on UA-cam about it and so little to read about it on the Internet. Happy hunting to you!
Ronald Paul van Dam. The 6T is a great little machine and with the right coil is deep. My Treasure Pro reminds me of the 6T.
Cool video. I love my TreasurePro! It’s a great machine!
Gaptain's Vlog thanks, I have watched a lot of your videos. I totally agree with you about the Treasure Pro !!
Good video learned alot thank you.
Clifford Black thanks, glad you liked it.
That Treasure Pro looks like a great little detector. Someday I wouldn't be surprised if they make detectors that can distinguish between gold and junk. They make new advances in knowledge and engineering every year.
horseman528 , yes it is a good machine and has the most features that I have found on a detector in its price range.
I would be interested in purchasing the equipment.
naturalperson24 what equipment are you referring to? My detector is not for sale.
Equipment to find coins like yours.
naturalperson24 My detector is a Whites Treasure Pro. I bought a package that included a Whites pinpointer and other accessories. You can buy them online feom several dealers.
I will check it out thanks and good hunting. You figure trillions of coins have been manufactured it turns out to be a number game of finding them, I would think old drive in movie theaters or school yards would be a good area's.
Wheat pennies are always a sign for silver.
Didn't you used to have a Whites M6 Matrix? Congratulations on the silver coin.
horseman528 yes I did have a M6 and wish I had it back. Great coin machine !!! I had Whites put it on a MXT rod because the balance was better and it was a favorite. I just exchanged the F70 for a new Whites Treasure Pro which I have also had in the past. I am a Whites guy and I will always be I guess. I am saving up for a MX Sport because I have two tubing rivers within 15 minutes of my house.
Still got my M6 and would like to get out and hunt, but I have too many obligations to get loosed from before I can do it.
Hope you get a chance to get out some soon.
Congratulations on your first silver with the F70 detector nice find.
Forrest Stinnett thanks, I am loving the F70 so far
Nice find.
Welcome back Pesc!!
GA1dad thanks, good to be back detecting
Congrats on your new F70 detector happy hunting and best of luck.
You really need to use a towel to put your dirt on , not only is it easier to find a coin on a towel ,but you just lift the towel up and dump the dirt into the hole when your done.
Dennis Kopp I'm a bit concerned with the size plug.
@@agon1963 LOL
Hey Bro, how do you know the depth of the signal?
If you scroll the sensitivity down you can get an idea on how deep it is.
how much worth thos coin?
